You can do medicine in English in Budapest too, good course I believe, and cheap rent etc. I actually stayed near the veterinary college hospital there, which I initially mistook to be a human hospital, they do the course through English too I believe, plus course in nursing, animal psychology etc.

I. Budapest they do medicine in English and apparently the training covers s lot more to than Ireland, people also go there to study to become vets
