    Updated age and target as per 5k TT. My likely loop (actually a triangle) is in front of my door. Just over 1.1 miles but hairpin turn too dangerous to take eyeballs out (overshoot and onto main road) so will start and finish either side of the tight turn for net zero elevation

    Lads haven't been on this since I followed the plan for DCM 2019 but seen this TT club on Strava and thought now that looks like something to sim for!!

    I did an experiment session this morning which had some elements of my goal pace. Is it supposed to be hard straight away? It really felt like I was very close to sprinting. maybe 90% of sprinting speed. :eek:

    Feel like I'm going to have to get comfortable with pain over next few weeks. can't wait.

    Updated for age. 5K TT prediction didn't work for me at all, strava pb for mile was 25seconds faster. I found a strava pb for the half mile on my profile page and doubled it...

    Gulp ... I'm still scarred by the outcome of the 5k TT so going with a slightly conservative prediction. May revise closer to the date (hopefully downwards!) depending on how the training goes. :)

    Should get close to the predicted as we did a virtual 1 mile TT last week with the virtual club. The legs and lungs were burning at the end, still great to have it to look forward to.
