Having consider the options available in this sham of a final, I have to go for Ser Davos Seaworth.

If I'm not allowed to vote for Davos, then I'm spoiling my vote.

If I'm not allowed to spoil my vote, then I vote for Tyrion. In a world where life is cheap and the sword is generally mightier than the pen, he survived through his wit and wisdom, and despite being up for execution he somehow manages to talk his way out of execution, gets everyone to agree on Bran as King, and ends up as hand of the King for the 3rd time.

My vote: Jaime.

Much better than Tyrion in the TV series, IMO for reasons already given.

I think he was marginally better in the books., Had a good story arc, especially having started off as such a dick. His last appearance in the books was a cliffhanger IIRC so it would be interesting where it was going to go. Though the last of Tyrion was off to meet Dany too, and that was interesting too. Very hard to separate them in the book. But Jaime had that growth, so that's who I'm voting for.

Thanks Necro. Tyrions not a bad winner. Definitely glad he bet Jamie. I wouldn't consider him the greatest character myself but definitely would have been in my top 5. Although in fairness to him he would have been in my top three until the last couple of seasons.
