S1 Davos. A gentleman, loyal, decent, dependable.

S2 Tyrion. Witty, funny, overcame so many obstacles and hardships and still kept his heart.


These are worthy of a grand finale and either would be a worthy winner.

Imo it's down to Liam Cunningham moreso than Davos the character. I haven't fully compiled my own favourites list but he wouldn't be in the top 8 anyways for me.

Jaime's storyline was so much more intrinsic to the saga than the follower that was Ser Davos.His character's evolution was wonderful too.He probably went a bit too good,the whole Brienne of Tarth will he won't he just did'nt feel right.

He should have as predicted ended his sister/lover's life.

Ser Davos - Favourite character from the books and TV

Tyrion - was the smartest man in Westeros, then became the stupidest. But when he was at his best, it was like a gift from the Gods of Tits and Wine

Jamie and Tyrion.

Ser Davos was a good guy but he's not greateat character material. Jamie's storylines were more engaging, more sinister, more humourous and the character showed more growth.

Tyrion was superior to his sister in all ways but one. I enjoyed the vast majority of his scenes and I was almost always rooting for him in his altercations.

The handsome Kingslayer. Davos was a very fine character (although semi-final is definitely pushing it) but following Jaime's journey throughout was a joy. The conclusion to that journey was probably the only redeeming feature of the final season.


I'm gonna have to go with the Imp in this one. Two great characters, both of which fell asunder towards the end, but earlier Tyrion was fantastic viewing.

Ser Davos is a great character but I'm surprised to see him here. Jaime and Tyrion are my picks. Jaime had so much development and Tyrion brought wit and cleverness.

Jaime and Davos - 2 great characters, I love Davos but his linear store line clashes badly with Jaimes intrinsicly complex and great story arc. Jaime gets it

Damn, the first Semi-Final is really tough ; would've been my choice for the Grand Final of these Final 4...

Semi-Final 1:
Jaime ; as much as I hate voting against Ser Davos, for me the two characters who have the best overall arcs are Jaime and Sansa, so I'm backing Jaime all the way for the big win here in this comp. His ending in the TV show was awful, but as was pretty much everything else about the final season. If the big man ever finishes the books I hope Jaime gets the ending his character deserves.

Semi-Final 2:
Cersei ; I don't think I've thrown Tyrion a single vote in this comp, which could lead people to believe I don't like the character, but I do, I really do. Up until the very end of Season 4, he was probably my favourite, and in the books he is one of the best, but his character just went all the way downhill in the last 4 seasons of the show and that has left somewhat of a sour taste in my mouth when it comes to his character. Cersei was always deliciously evil and like most characters in the final season, Cersei didn't get utilized as best she could, but overall she was great. And I do love a good villain.
