And in a match that was much closer than I expected, Hodor snatches the victory and just about Holds The Door against the High Sparrow. 6-4 the scoreline.

Must note I actually thought the High Sparrow was a great character. Mainly because he took Cersei and Margaery down a few pegs at least for a little while.

    Match 2:

Next up is one for the revenge fantasists.

The Young Wolf comes up against the man who arranged his death, can he gain a measure of payback?

    Hodor.

The door scene was one of my favourites in the show but he was also one of very few all round decent sort of lads.

Tywin as he was the best character in the show played by the best actor in the show.

2 characters I loved but only one winner.

    Tywin Lannister.

How great an actor is Charles Dance!

Tywin Lannister is far superior and gets my vote. I never cared much for Robb.

Tywin for the win. An epic character with an epic death. Shot dead on the toilet by his son, exactly how I want to go.

Tywin for me great character, there was an odd decency to him I felt, like Tyrion he was one of the more complicated and fleshed out with depth characters in the show.

Tywin Charles Dance just captivated the screen he was a great choice for the role. I'm a little bit preoccupied today so I'll be in and out with my votes

Oof, that's one in the feels. The Red Wedding is repeated and the Young Wolf slaughtered by Tywin. 6-0 whitewash.

    Match 3:

I wonder if this match will go the same way as the previous one...
    Qyburn

    Jaime Lannister

Oh it has to be Jamie, incest & all. Because every so often he showed he had a decent side.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,503 ✭✭✭✭Also Starring LeVar Burton

Jaime for sure, arguably the best character in the books. The show let him down big time in the final season after doing so well for the most part (aside from banging Cersei over Joffrey's coffin - ew, and again something that wasn't in the books). His character arc in general is just really good

    Only one winner Jaime Lannister.

His transition from the horrid individual who pushed Bran out the window, loss of his hand.More humane traits as learned from Brienne of Tarth, disturbingly unquenchable love for his sibling.

His interactions with Tyrion,Bronn gave the show some of it's finest moments. He was ultimately a decent human being as portrayed in the show.

Qyburn the Frankenstein creator.Gave us The Mountain mark 2.His meddling with nature and the dark arts was not enough.

    Jaime all the way.

    Jaime.

Was great as a bad guy and a good guy!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,670 ✭✭✭✭salmocab

Jaime for me, he had a few sides to him. Plus a bit of sister banging.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,619 ✭✭✭PsychoPete

Jamie even with the whole banging his sister ( in offaly he'd be considered a hero for that) he had a good side but probably would have liked him to be a bit more of a villain

Jaime sends Qyburn back to the lab after a jolly good thrashing. Another washout 6-0 win.

Jaime the slimy git you just can't hate gets my vote

I just can't keep up with these lighting fast votes

    Match 4:

This is the trouble sometimes with randomisation, it can throw up some great matches, then some obvious outcomes. Prove me wrong :P

    Arya Stark

    Osha

Osha, because if Sansa can't be in the competiton anymore, Arya shouldn't be either; overrated anyway.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,038 ✭✭✭Ficheall

    Arya. Obviously.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,985 ✭✭✭Essien

    Arya.

I wouldn't be her biggest fan but she contributed so much more than Osha. Her relationship with The Hound in particular was excellent.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,181 ✭✭✭Lady Haywire

Arya, I enjoyed her travels with the Hound & watching (well, reading) her grow into herself.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,286 ✭✭✭seligehgit

    Another landslide me thinks.

Arya Stark with pointy. Her storyline brought some of the show's best moments.

Her interaction with Tywin at Harrenhal and the Hound, loved her time under the tutelage of Jaqen H'ghar, faceless men.

Her killing of the waif and time in the House of Black and White armed her with the tools to kill Meryn Trant,Walder Frey.Epic!

Still disgusted with downing of the Night King.I thought she'd be the one to kill Cersei.

Her night of passion with Gendry was a bit lame.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,670 ✭✭✭✭salmocab

Arya, although her story line ebbed and flowed between good and bad

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,619 ✭✭✭PsychoPete

Arya because you know nothing Burton

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,472 ✭✭✭✭Collie D

Arya Stark - An unlikely assassin. Didn’t really like the House of Black and White storyline but her interactions with The Hound and Tywin were great, not to mention her kills - some nasty individuals that deserved it.

Another shellacking dished out, though LeVar ensures Osha doesn't get whitewashed. 6-1 the score here
