Knowing our luck there will end up being cases from these events. Anyway staying positive and it would be a massive lift if these are successful in regards coming to the end of the year

That'd still be 1500 to 2000 at some GAA grounds, maybe a couple hundred at LOI, but it's a start.

Different to other festival rescheduling/postponements, as Longi, has been effectively cancelled for 2021, rather than a rescheduling or postponed to 2022. So everyone who bought online gets automatic refunds, no tickets for 2021 can be carried over to 2022.

Paid out 968 euro for 4 tickets for Longitude. Will get that back now. Add that to the cashback I got from Ulster Bank Ufirst account, I should be up about 250 euro.

It might be that, this relates to tickets bought for a 2020 festival, but now won’t be happening until 2022, and was already postponed once before.

Different to other gigs that can be moved maybe 6 months out, this one can only be moved out 1 year, and its the second time it would have happened, so it would be considered unreasonable to postpone again, if they had done that, it would be a 2.5 year time line, between ticket purchased and actual event taking place.

It was cancelled in 2020 and refunded also.

I am happy it is cancelled and not rescheduled. Most attendees at Longitude are 16/17 year old kids.

Could be. Just hadn't heard of too many other yearly summer festivals doing it but could be a demographic thing alright!

Its more a licensing thing. which is why nearly all events last year simply postponed til this summer their schedule and did again this summer.

Yep most do so was wondering why Longitude didn't. Was wondering was it younger age profile so more likely to miss payment more.
