    Hi Consultant, I hope that you are keeping well.

    I'd be very interested to hear your take on the UK's vaccination strategy, of giving more first doses followed by a second at some vague future date.

    I see it it two ways:

    1) That with a large population with partial protection they will drive the disease down and achieve their "herd immunity".

    2) This is my big fear that by creating a large section of the population with partial protection, the UK is providing incubators for the virus to mutate and able to thrive in a partly or wholly vaccinated body.


    Hopefully I'm way off the mark.
