I'm sure I'd try anything if I was in sustained analgesic resistant pain.

    Is it any good?

If there is a herbal type remedy that is known to work I would have no problem using it.

It's the last poster's question you answer. When this thread gets busy, just answer all the previous questions to keep it going!

    Last book you bought?
It was called "Who sent Clement?"

Sorry, just saw your question, Sardonicat. It is, but I'm not sure how it holds up against Aspirin.

Roughly how many jars of culinary herbs and spices do you keep in your kitchen, if any?

Otherwise I stick ground cinammon into everything I can get it into .

    Ever made an apple tart?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,243 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

Yes but not in a long time. Prefer apple crumble.

What will you do this evening?

I'm taking it easy this evening. Busy 2 days. Cup of tea and a small bar and the newspaper.

    Who's your favourite chef?

I think nothing beats the Italians when it comes to meal time.

Just going back to spices.... cinnamon - do you use the Cassia or Ceylon variety?

Have you ever seen an ancient monument like a Portal Dolmen and just stopped and wondered about the people around at that time? Would you have fitted in?!

I would because I'd say they had a wicked sense of humour like my own.

To survive as a man I'd need to be more built than I am currently - more like the Dagda maybe. :D

    Is that my loss?

    Do you like them ?

Yeah I like watching a few of their sketches.

    Oasis or Blur ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

They both had their merits. Is it illegal to like both?

If at the end of your days you were to be given a Megalithic burial in a portal tomb, what grave goods would be included with your body to make your next life easier/more prosperous?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 497 ✭✭antgal23

If it isn't illegal Widdershins it very much should be Oasis all day

Good question, stuff for the afterlife - herbs and spices, photos, the odd book, some type of tapestry for the tomb, my body should be wrapped in special scented cloth. Also, the coat if arms of my surname should on my shield

Is that answer too long and detailed or would you bring something similar?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

    I loved that answer!

Id have to sit and mull over mine (I already know Im going to be planted in a willow coffin, though :D )

Most people know what we call their Star Sign but do you know your Moon Sign?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 497 ✭✭antgal23

Thanks for being so positive Widdershins :)

I don't know my moon sign. Re: the moon, I have read two very interesting books lately, The Lunar Effect by Lieber and Woman's Mysteries by Harding. Definitely a topic worth exploring

Dunno why I got interested in the moon tbh

    Why Willow?
