Turn on the central heating I suppose...

What was your strongest subject in secondary school?
Biology was what i got highest in, in the leaving.

But i was an all rounder tbh.

I wasn't terrible at anything ..but not like genius in anything either.

I tended to get b's all the time ..but could never get an A ....the only A i got in the leaving was higher biology.

Everything else was a b. I could never get an A in english for some reason. Dont think i ever got above a B1. English always seemed so subjective.

Do you think the leaving really means anything about you?

Do you think the UK will benefit from leaving the EU?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,345 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

No. But they'll think they will benefit as the eurosceptic British papers will push the agenda of britain performing marvellously outside the EU

No because I struggle with eye contact at times and it can be very intense when someone's staring right at you.. into your soul.. if such things existed.

    Do you believe in souls?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,345 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

Possibly. It's like other things - it's not something you can quantify directly, but you can't deny it's existence either imo.

It’s a nice idea in theory but just a bit naive overall. It’s quite simply human nature to put yourself and loved ones ahead of the general community - unfortunately this makes communism as a government massively vulnerable to corruption once these people who don’t value the collective above all get into influential positions. Furthermore it doesn’t really account for people’s innate sense of “fairness” - why am I gonna break my balls for years studying for a doctorate in whatever when at the end of the day I’m going to be earning the same as the fella sweeping the streets?

Google the painting “The Plains of Heaven” by John Martin - where does it remind you of most?

Do you think that is a negative trait to have?
