Are you a night owl or a morning bird?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,077 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

My nature is night owl. My reality is early bird. Ideally I would be both and be able to get by on 4 hours sleep but I need 7-8.

Have you ever had a big change of career?

I don't know, but something that I could do alone. I'm not a team player. Or rather, I am but dont cope very well with the vast majority who pay lip service to being team players but in fact are not.

    Any suggestions for me?

How about a crane operator. You have to work tightly with a team, but you're on your own all day. Great views too.

What's the most spectacular view you've ever seen?

Eh, as I have dyspraxia I don't think that would be a good idea!

Switzerland, on my way up Mt Pilatus in a cable car passing over a ridge and seeing the chasm appear beneath us yet the peak still towering over us. I need to clarify that my friend had plied me with 'herbal calming tablets that were in fact tranquilizers she'd pre-packaged. I wouldn't have made that trip without them but glad I did and I'd do it again, without the drugs. Truly awe inspiring.

Do you prefer verdant or barren for scenery ?

I'd be happy with either - so long as there were no snakes and similar nasties

Ever find yourself sitting on a cactus ?

No but I did actually step directly on one in my bare feet aged about 7 and had to sit there while my mam pulled the spines out with a tweezers one by one (there were a lot) it was excruciating :)
