My gates are open and there are some recipes, fossils and clothes in an area behind my house.
Have been setting up a playground area this evening and planting outside it in checkerboard pattern(thanks for the tip Holly) but I am short one yellow rose to finish off the area. Would anyone have a spare? Am willing to repay the favour.

That's interesting because he was right beside Flick. I thought it odd you went straight to Flick and ignored Wisp. He does say he's shy around other people. That was my joke about "killing" Flick as there was a ghost.

Potential workaround for now?
You can rebind the button in the switch settings.
Home -> Settings -> Controllers -> Change Buttton Mapping

Change it to a button you don't rarely need or use for animal crossing e.g. Left Analog stick button press. Or the capture button.

Lads, fishing is going to be a goldmine this month. Was only on for about 40 minutes last night and caught about 7/8 sharks and loads of the high price river fish

I completely forgot to open my island last night but luckily the flowery surfboard is still here! Opened to all friends this morning if anyone wants to stop by and buy it from Nooks or pick up the freebies I've left in front of Nooks

Edit: Boomer is also crafting a shell arch and Leif is here.
