Spotted a lady in Dundrum village exactly as the discussion about the Irish liking for the drink commenced, her bag read:

    ".... Avoid hangovers, stay drunk...."

"...no Joe, you rang me !..." A.Caller.

We had some gold this week amidst a sea of banality. Long may Damo continue, just less of the paintings/history lessons and more of the unbelievably crazy characters of the Lahvlahn listenership. Have a good weekend callers and children of de coronavirus generation so to speak.

Arrived in Namibia. I’m telling ya, there was a thermoscan and form-filling process before they would let you into the recesses of Windhoek airport. Several Chinese people (saw their passports) had very serious masks on and I touched one, in error so to speak, I mean part of a Chinese man, not his mask, he was trying to keep his distance but I couldn’t resist bcsnd he looked very worried. Was sandwiched between himself and his girlfriend/wife. Anyone with a temperature is escorted into a quarantine tent.

Feel the heat in me, combination of sun/menopause and maybe a corona touch. The swimming pool in tonight’s hotel has a corona pattern on its tiled floor. Should I phone Joe?

An auld lad in Nenagh used to call them "The Chinees" as in one Chinee two Chinees.

My late aunt from Dublin 4 called them “Chinks”, but would then turn around and have a very friendly civilised conversion with one.

De man was wearing blue (I have a kinky passion for blue garb in de men) and his face mask gave him quite an all-watching mysterious sexy look. I remember having a small (secret) crush once on an unusually tall good looking Chinese tour guide who was incredibly intelligent. I suppose it’s de ails breeding instinct.

My late mother had a dream one night that John Bowman of RTÉ asked her could she persuade me to have a child with him as he thought I’d be a suitable brood mare. She was all on for it, being an admirer of Bowman’s intellect and gravitas.

I would imagine I read more bukes in a month than Mr. Duffy does in a year. And mine don't have pages that you colour in either.

At least it wasn’t a dollop of sh1te like antisocial people left the odd time in libraries where I worked. One Saturday when I was in charge of the branch, one of the splendid members of relief staff asked me what to do about the situation. I gave all on board. Pair of rubber gloves and wore out the entire shelf of books on grounds of health & safety, spent a feckin hour writing g the necessary report for HQ, printed out notices, have staff dummy deserved breaks, notified cleansing,,etc.

The amount of sh1te, semen, blood, snot etc that library staff have to deal with at times is unreal. A lot of unwell use the premises, and I’m not talking about the decent aul regular homeless we would have a nice chat with.

I stood and watched some porky little bastard pick his nose and wipe it on each page of the book he was reading. Some serious issues there, I was thinking.

She actually woke up in the morning thinking this wound be a great idea. “You would have such an interesting child together” she exclaimed. You are on the same mental wavelength” she said. Also she was big into de Quakers. so to speak, saying in a House of Friends “I feel as one of you”. However she had a crush on a Presbyterian, a love tact dare not speak its name, de faaaaader if a friend of mine. Even in her eighties she said the sexual attraction to young men doesn’t cease, but you just don’t pray it out, her sister in law agreed totally “we just speak it as it is, a young guy I’m an be very nice to look at, it’s not any way different to men and young girls. You just don’t act in it. Didn’t that shake your your young teenage thoughts! “
