Please don't use IATA or ICAO codes (you can use them to clarify if a a city has more than one airport however). They're a bitch to Google on phones and tablets.

    I've used:

    Dublin
    Shannon
    Blackpool
    Leeds
    Southampton
    London City
    Jersey (St. Helier).
    Paris CDG
    Brussels
    Frankfurt EDDF
    Copenhagen
    Berlin SFX
    Prague
    Vienna
    Budapest
    Kiev Boryspil
    Rome Fiumicino
    Venice Marco Polo
    Malta
    Madrid
    Reus
    El Prat Barcelona
    Lisbon
    Menorca
    Algarve Faro
    Orlando Sanford
    Orlando MCO
    Atlanta
    Newark
    JFK
    Alicante
    Amsterdam
    Eindhoven
    Kraków
    Wroclaw

Berlin Schoenfeld (or whatever it’s called now) - the WORST airport I’ve been in by a long shot. Don’t use this airport. I’ve never been in an airport before where there wasn’t enough seating for everyone.

    London - Stansted, Gatwick, Heathrow

    Bristol

    Liverpool

    Manchester

    Dublin

    Knock

    Cardiff

    Prague

    Keflavik

    Faro

    Lisbon

    Murcia-San Javier

Birmingham (flight was diverted from Bristol)

    Corfu

    Okay, let's see.

    Hamburg
    Düsseldorf
    Cologne/Bonn
    Frankfurt Hahn
    Frankfurt/Main
    Salzburg
    Klagenfurt
    Vienna
    Prague
    Warsaw
    Budapest
    Palma de Mallorca
    Izmir
    Zurich
    Amsterdam
    London Heathrow
    London Stansted
    London City Airport
    Bristol
    Liverpool
    Helsinki
    Cork
    Dublin
    Kerry
    Dubai
    New York - JFK
    Providence

That should do it. Airports in bold are the most frequently used ones.

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

When I came to Ireland nearly 20 years ago, my last flights.

London Airport, as the small "airport" ie landing strip on the island where I lived was called... to Kirkwall Airport, Orkney.. to Edinburgh then to Dublin...
    Four in one day..

Before then occasional flights from Kirkwall or London Airport Orkney to Aberdeen and back ( hospital visits)

It was a nightmare. It was actually really distressing for me because our flight was delayed and my back was excruciating sore and I was seriously distraught at the thought of having to stand for up to three hours. And I’m not sure I would have been entitled to ask for a seat because I’m sure there were plenty of other passengers in the airport with sore backs and other ailments.

Luckily I managed to nab a seat but I was very lucky to. I would have had to lie down on the ground otherwise and that would have been nearly as painful as standing. An airport should have enough seats for everyone, full stop. Hell, even a perfectly healthy person would struggle to stand for so long.

My heart goes out to you, Schoenefeld really is a deplorable sh1thole. First and last visit dragging four articles of luggage up and down several flights of stairs. Shook from a vomiting bug, curled up into a ball on floor of departure "lounge". Unforgettable, a wrecking ball couldn't swing through it fast enough.

Agreed on Schönefeld, kip of an airport - but it kind of suits Berlin in its own little way, which is a city that has a lot of rough edges.

The new Berlin Brandenburg Airport immediately adjacent to Schönefeld is apparently due to open late this year. I'll believe it when I see it; the most hilariously bungled and comic public infrastructure project in Germany's history, and possibly the world. Worthy of its own thread.

That sounds like hell. And yes, so many stairs.

Whenever people talk about German efficiency and sense, I think of Berlin and its airports. I’ve never used Tegel but I hear it’s not much better than Schoenfeld.

Koh Samui is a fantastic airport. Favorite by a mile.

Worst was Bangkok, not easy to navigate.
