Any mention of personal responsibility when bleating on about rights/entitlements

Any mention of Sinn Fein TDs shouting "Up the Ra."

To be fair, that gets my back up too.

The trump red hat brigade turn a blind eye to both when it suits them often enough.

All politicians regardless of their supposed allegiance do. It's not as simple as saying the left or right do it.

Take a look at the other thread, about what triggers the right. Loads of the things posted trigger the left too in various circumstances.

Should it be clarified that this is the Americanised version of "The Left" where any vaguely liberal idea makes you a commie pinko trans unicorn?

Asking "How will you pay for that?"

I'd be pretty left leaning and couldn't give a flying fcuk about most of the things listed so far. Most of them have zero effects on my day to day life. Trump annoys the crap out of me because he is an appalling human being utterly unsuitable for the office he holds.

    Not agreeing with gender quotas.

Suggesting that a 16 year old girl is not the messiah!

She's not. She's just a very naughty boy.

And I'd be pretty conservative with elements of both left and right depending on the subject. This is the problem these days. Either you're the left or the right, and agreeing even a little on one, means you must agree with everything else too. Ahh American politics. I can almost remember when we laughed at the idea of such extremism ever being accepted over here. Alas.. it has begun to find fertile soil in some people. (and not just on the internet as many people claim)

As for Trump... He's a muppet, but I don't get why he triggers people so much. I found Bush Jnr to be worse in many ways.

    Threads like this.

Bigots, racists, sexists and homophobes would be four examples

What definitely triggers them is when we ask them to help us pay for the ludicrous social programs that they want put in place.

Did anyone mention the alarm clock yet?

Using the term "free house". That's always a humdinger.:)

Yes, but "humdinger" may ever trigger them more.

so... everyone that doesn't agree with them then?

Within my first week of returning to posting on boards, I'd been called all of those terms. :D

Saying somebody should take personal responsibility!

Taking "the left" to mean those "woke" folk:

Disagreeing that there are endless genders.

Disagreeing that a biological man is a woman (this is not an objection shared by the entire left though in fairness).

Even agreeing with just some points made by the likes of Jordan Peterson.

Saying groups with high levels of crime need to tackle this from within.

Saying Islam has a problem with extremism.

Disagreeing with today's form of feminism (I've been called a misogynist on social media for calmly explaining why I don't like the form it has taken. Me - a misogynist. Hilarious).

Well he's not a reasonable person himself either.

You don't have to be a leftie loon to dislike him.

Pointing out that redistribution of wealth and taxation are essentially theft under the threat of violence.
