Just done Ryan & Maupay to McCarthy & Wood and boy does it feel good. Let the rot set in for too long. It was either this or a Wildcard. I have major doubts over Mane Traore Lunds, Kelly so may have to pull the trigger anyway

    All defenders except TaA out
New budget defence who will let me down for remainder of season in
Prob get son and Jiminez as well
And a third pool player. Was thinking mane but now may be firmiino

2 ft but a few lads need moving, could see 3 or 4 moved in total.

    2 FTs.
Maupay and Noble out, which doesn't leave me with a lot to play around with.
May have to take a -4 to beef up my 3rd striker.

With Lundstram dropped, I'm thinking -8.

    Entering WC area.

I sold Kelly for Lascelles. I like the look of Newcastle's fixtures.

I need to get rid of O'Connell, Ryan, Fredericks, Lundstrum and Martial.

    Should wildcard I suppose

Thinking of Lundstram to Lacelles too

Need to ship Ryan out - was a mistake swotching him in for Pope 5 or 6 GWs ago :-(

Any suggestions? Looking at Dubravka if I can afford him.

Plan is Soyuncu to someone but might also bank

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 833 ✭✭✭SkySter

Was going to do Lundstram out, but will hold fire after yesterday.

Ryan is on the chopping block. Brighton look like relegation fodder at the moment.

Done Ryan to McCarthy, hate wasting a FT on a goalie but Brighton's days are done.

Now need to shift on Dunk and Soyuncu also.....

Actually have some dirt hanging around. Dendoncker too.

*Might keep Dendoncker for GW31 Blank if he gets a few run outs in the meantime.

Got to get rid of Sid. Defense is in a state. Have Soy and Dunk also. Offloaded The Lord last week with GW 28 in mind

Same Boly is coming in for me.

Have another free, with City playing Wed-Sat-Wed I might consider going a week early on offloading a city mid. Shouls Mahrez or KDB go? Currently it'll be KDB as I think hes more important for the european matches to them

Lots of people I'm not entirely happy with but nobody calling out to me. Punts on Perez and Tosun haven't worked out, triple Leicester is looking like a fading idea - 2FT and .2 in ITB.

    McCarthy
    TAA Soyuncu Aurier Lundstram Rico
    Salah Mane Grealish KDB Perez
    Vardy Ings Tosun

Leicester have such a nice run coming up, seems a waste to ditch Vardy, but he hasn't scored since before Christmas. Wolves have a lovely run coming up too, so thinking....
    Vardy/Lundstram out
    Jimenez/Doherty in

Think I'd stick with Vardy for a few more weeks, they've a nice run coming and to be fair he's had a lot of disruption since Xmas so I think he'll get back among the goals with this nice run coming.

Would you consider Tosun to Jimi and sell either Grealish or Perez for Hayden? Think the numbers work on that.

Good food for thought. Essentially Tosun for Jiminez as I've a strong front 5 as it stands.

Which would you guys go for:

Calvert-Lewin to Ings or Auba for Vardy? The second I have exactly the money for and Vardy looks set to drop tonight.

DCL’s fixtures are horrific though? More than likely won’t blank in GW31 but that’s a good distance away still.

Well you should be getting Ings anyway
I do not see any reason to spend over 10 ml on a striker playing left wing in a struggling team. Cos that is what Arsenal are

Agree on DCL fixtures. I have him but on WC so may get rid. I would not use a FT to do it though

KDB to Son is one I'm considering strongly.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,880 ✭✭✭✭dahat

Son looks injured going off at half time, hold fire.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,880 ✭✭✭✭dahat

I'm fairly certain I'll take a chance on Vardy for the next few games. He should be getting his mojo back after the Xmas period/injury etc.

Son also in the shopping list which means Digne will have to stay another week.

I keep coming back to Vardy as my 3rd striker with Jiminez and Ings too
DCl Jiminez Ings feels very light
My midfield may force me into it though

Vardy has a high ceiling whereas the 3 above just chip away with points.

Hmmm maybe rethinking Dubravka as y Ryan replacement. Though there is not much else at that pricepoint. Would love to go Henderson but blancks in both 28 & 31 are too much.

    Schmeichel?
    Patricio?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,833 ✭✭✭shineon23

Probably Kelly out for Lascelles or Taylor on Thursday after all the games have been played in league and europe.

Thinking Zaha and Vardy out. Son and ings in? It's a no brainer really isn't it.

    At this moment, yes.

Vardy definitely worth re-visiting with his price dropping and his fixtures improving in the next month though.

Anyone considering JWP? I'm seriously considering him for GW27 if I bench boost as planned.

He hasn't had great returns recently, but he was flagged there last week so I wonder was he carrying an injury for a while? Also Southampton haven't had great fixtures recently.

Anyway I'm telling myself that the winter break will have done him good and home to Villa is the perfect opportunity for a return to form.

He had a deep cut/gash to the knee that made him a doubt for the Burnley game.

Really not sure there's another Southampton attacker worth considering apart from Ings. They struggled to create anything against Burnley.

    Maupay to Jimi

    Considering Aguero/Redmond to Jimi/Son

    Redmond was a disaster

Long is a decent option if going 352

I’m a bit lost as too what too do as my season has stalled a little recently

    Pope Foster
    Robbo Gomez Soy Lundstram Sidibe
    Salah Grealish Zaha Doucoure Dendonker
    Vardy Ings Aguero

Obvious ones are Digne Zaha Doucoure
    I’ve 2ft and .9 itb
Any suggestions from anyone would be very welcomed

Aguero to Jiminez and doucore to son if you have the money or digne to boly and dendonker to traore.

    100%
IF i go 352 (and I am seriously considering it) he is my 3rd striker
4.6 bench fodder but offers more than any of the bench fodder mids at that price.

midfield of mane salah son mahrez barnes
jiminez ings and then long is very very tempting
Would have full squad as well which would mean i could change between 352/442 or 433 if i was forced to
Going to watch pool and city games before I decide but I cant shake the feeling mane is going to be worth it
But I don't think I can risk selling salah just yet
Easy to upgrade Long to Vardy then in a few weeks by selling one of the expensive mids

There are talks that Son has an elbow injury and will require surgery.

Aguero to Jiminez and doucore to son if you have the money .

Ya I can do this and have money ITB. Hopefully a nice goodbye present from Kun tonight. Now that city aren’t in the league title race is that why people are ok being Cityless?
or digne to boly and dendonker to traore.

Had a bit of a brain fart while ago. It’s Sidibe I have not Digne

Leicester away , blank, utd away, burnley home , blank is their next 5. Burnley at home is 3 days before they play Real so will aguero even play that game. Their is a chance of a city dgw in 29 being the only worry.

    Tears up wildcard Plans

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,469 ✭✭✭Shedite27

Son injury takes away temptation to ditch KDB/Mane for him.

    Easy transfer now...
    Tosun/Perez out
    Jimenez/Hayden out

    Tosun/Perez were being rotated anyway

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,849 ✭✭✭Cartman78

Had some half baked plan for Auba out for Son for a hit so that injury is probably no a bad thing in FPL terms.

Probably Boly in for Cathcart now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,695 ✭✭✭✭siblers

Last time Son was supsended I got Alli. I will not be making that mistake again. I'll need to wildcard now, too much dead weight in my team

Have 4 players blanking in GW28 currently

Aguero, KDB, Grealish and Lundstram. Out of those Lundstram will have to be shipped out (had since GW1) most likely for Boly

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,369 ✭✭✭Porthallian

I currently have 5 blanking for G28 in KdB, Aguero, Douglas.L, Lundy and Henderson.

Redmond and Kelly injured. Fodder GK.

    Only have 7 probable starters:
    Robertson, Soy, Rico
    Salah, Traore
    Vardy, Ings

    Might be time to WC....
    0.2m and 1ft.

    No idea :(
