I used to catch the train as a kid every day from one small town to another for school and I used to try and game the 10 journey ticket as much as I could but the station masters were quite on the ball with checking. I was a poor kid with no pocket money, I'm sorry!

These days I probably could have made that 10 journey last a month ;) or longer!

Apologies it was Jamie. I take it back.
I’m not disputing nor interested in what you hear or presume. I’m telling how it is. Not what I’m experiencing, how it is.
    CSO’s are visible.
    CSO’s check tickets.
    CSO’s are making announcements.

If they weren’t I’d say it. I don’t give a toss one way or another.

I see you have changed your tone from been condescending to been passive aggressive. Well done.

Why bother posting here at all if you're not interested in hearing what other people have to say? You have called me a liar several times today and had to apologise twice and your tone has gone from being OTT offensive to vaguely conciliatory. Well done, well done!

Why not address the facts I posted?

I’ll post where I like. I seen bull and I contradicted.

If you don’t like it that’s your problem.

If my posting offends you feel free to report.

Racism is now hiding behind the cloak of Community activism.

Both of you - knock it off else there will have to be sanctions.

Attack the post and not the poster.

I have been told many times about the old days on the Youghal line, Family's rarely all bought tickets, maybe one person out of 5 would buy one. No wonder the line closed!

Rubbish. I travelled on those trains and you had to have a ticket to get through the barrier at Cork station. The line closed because like so much of the extremities of the Irish railway system it was allowed to wither and had no investment until a huge amount of would have been needed to bring the line up to a safe condition.
