    If the thread stops getting responses, it naturally 'dies' and drops off the first page.
    If you keep bumping it, it artificially keeps a dying thread alive and pushes more 'current' discussion off the front page.

    Maybe I have to watch Angel, I only watched the first Season, but did not like it that much.
