    15. Jordan Larmour | Toby Arnold
    14. Dave Kearney | Xavier Mignot
    13. Garry Ringrose | Ethan Dumortier
    12. Robbie Henshaw | Thibaut Regard
    11. James Lowe | Noa Naikaitaci
    10. Ross Byrne | Jean-Marcellin Buttin
    9. Jack McGrath | Jonathan Pélissié
    1. Cian Healy | Hamza Kaabèche
    2. James Tracy | Badri Alkhazashvili
    3. Tadhg Furlong | Francisco Gomez Kodela
    4. Devin Toner | Martial Rolland
    5. Scott Fardy | Hendrik Roodt
    6. Rhys Ruddock | Killian Geraci
    7. Josh Van Der Flier | Etienne Oosthuizen
    8. Max Deegan | Virgile Bruni
    |
    16. Sean Cronin | Jeremie Maurouard
    17. Peter Dooley | Raphael Chaume
    18. Andrew Porter | Kevin Yameogo
    19. Ross Molony | Tanginoa Halaifonua
    20. Caelan Doris | Felix Lambey
    21. Jamison Gibson-Park | Sam Hidalgo-Clyne
    22. Ciaran Frawley | Joris Moura
    23. Rob Kearney | Josua Tuisova

    Referee: Ben Whitehouse (Wales)
Assistant Referees: Gwyn Morris, Mike English (Wales)
    TMO: Ian Davies (Wales)

Strong Leinster team, all in all, going more or less all out to try and ensure a top seeding spot, reflected by the 40 point bookies spread (not helped by Lyon sending a ... weakened ... side). The try scoring machine that is Dave Kearney starts as does Deegan. Ross Byrne will want to have a good performance to put him in the driving seat (if not already there) for the Irish 10 spot. With Cooney tearing it up for Ulster lately, McGrath hopefeully can do the same tomorrow.

While there's a sense of inevitability about Leinster at the moment, and after two games against Ulster and Connacht where they flew out of the blocks only to slow down a lot in the second half, as a fan you'd hope for a full 80 minute performance as this seems the perfect game to do it. Not counting chickens yet though. Easy as fans to get complacent, but I can't see the players falling for it.

Should be a complete foregone conclusion. As long as we get the 5 and no serious injuries everything else is irrelevant.

Will be interesting to see how Jack McGrath gets on at scrum half. The move to ulster has paid off.

Reminds me of one of my favorite moments the last few years:

Gibson Park and Adam Byrne in stitches at full time.

Whats the story with Lambey? Dropped from WC squad & not in 6N squad. Thought he was good in last years 6Nations

Leinster to hit 30 by half time and treat the second half like a defensive training session.

    47-6

Leinster to break 50, bonus point by half time.

First try to come in first 5 mins or so.

    To be fair to Lyon.

They've had the champions in their group for two years in a row.

    Ben Whitehouse is the ref?

    Oh god.

Three concussions in a year, he's been stood down for three months. May be back in a week or two.

The speed in which Leinster move the ball wide is breathtaking. 5 minutes in and already created two overlaps. Shame neither were trys.

    Byrne limping slightly?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,719 ✭✭✭✭Larbre34

If the Willow Park U-11s did that in a match, they'd be running laps Monday night till they puked.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,373 ✭✭✭ongarite

That was a brain dead penalty to give away

    BP before 20 minutes again?

Not sure if they will from here, but they easily could have by now. They crossed the line 4 times already.

They need to stop with this Chelsea Dagger crap after tries.

Makes one want to massacre the MC.

If McGrath hadn't slipped there I reckon we could've done it

Making line breaks for fun now. Very nice break from Ringrose. Shame McGrath couldn't get the pass back to him.

That's two crooked throws at the lineout by Lyon and the first one to be penalised.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,718 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    Out of fecking nowhere.

Think we're going to see a change in style now. More direct and less flashy. Grind away at them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,149 ✭✭✭mangobob

Well thats a kick in the balls.

No need to change game style - 2 tries to one if a ok ratio...

It better not ever stop, its pure tradition

Byrne always looks like he's running in slow motion but his carrying has been really decent so far.

No it wasn't. Its the nature of the game we play, so long as our ratio is 4:1 or better we're golden.

It is however the sort of thing that'll get Andy Farrell thinking hard.

Deegan's having a stormer. This competition between himself and Doris is really bringing the best out of them.

Trying to force too many passes

Should have taken the kick before TMO called it.
