How much in debt are you and your current income. Would be interesting to see. Not taking mortgages into account.

    No debt whatsoever. Income? €80k+

    What about yourself OP?

I never willingly enter into debt.

Only cleared and removed my overdraft facility recently.
    No debt now.
Do own a car on PCP though, and about to draw down a mortgage

Plenty of people earn more than €80k+ and are in debt...

Some people live within their means and many don’t.

Thankfully I've never been in debt or had to take out any loans.

I worked part-time to pay for college and only ever upgrade my car etc when I have the cash together to buy it upfront.

I'm 29 with no real responsibilities to anyone except myself so I've never had reason to go into debt. A mortgage in a few years will change all this though.

Mortgages are the easy part, a wife and kids are where debt comes from ;)

I’ve never had ballet lessons but I’ve spent a fortune on them!!! Many other examples.

Zero, no loans, never had a credit card. But have no dependents so it's easier to live within my income.

Apart from the Mortgage - zero. Both have Credit Cards but cleared every month automatically. Also have overdraft facility on Joint Account for emergencies but rarely used.

Absolutely. Living within your means is the key. Sometimes things conspire against you, however, and debt becomes a necessity. Plenty on low incomes without debt and just as many on higher incomes in debt.

In fairness, Srameen answered the OPs question. Shame the OP has not contributed further than his/her question with what they owe.

Why put 3k on a credit card and then clear it ?

    Intrigued

Cash back on some credit cards

KBC offer it on mine... Only pennies most months but could be worth a few quid if spending on it

    Hmm never considered that.

Is there any that maximize or would be worth while.

Have a BOI one but it's empty as usual.

It's amusing that you can't resist an opportunity to brag about the finances.

80k is hardly anything to brag about

The question of debt was asked but once again Srameen managed to wedge his income in there as well. Nothing new :)

The OP specifically asked for incomes, what’s the problem?
