Don't know about that, not like there's ever been a competition comparing the contenders.

Baker Street : still a very good song, the other sounds like it's still stuck in the 80s

Video killed the radio star: the other song was just terrible, there has been some excellent covers of the buggles song too which keeps it fresh

I probably would have voted for the first,although I liked Beds are Burning too, and I definitely would have voted for the second. Votes not needed now.

In relation to Buggles, they were not a total one hit wonder. Their follow-up single Plastic Age was in the Top 20 and Clean Clean was in the lower end of the Top 40. But they fulfill the rules for this thread, i.e. no more than 3 Top 20 hits and associated with one song.
