I feel disappointed for England...they've clearly been the best team in 2019. SA only decided to play rugby in this final

Graces has very much favoured SA

I don't think so to be honest, I'm not a Garces fan and he hasn't stopped SA from slowing down ball by coming in from the side. But I think he's been pretty fair overall.

So marginal and the angle was terrible. Calling forward from there would have been very brave by Garces or the TMO.

Surely the TMO should have some sort of grid line tech to decide it definitively like offside in soccer

It's an incredible turn around for South Africa. A couple of years ago we beat them 38-3. Peaked at the perfect time.

Also shows the damaged Heinke Meyer did to the side. SA aren't playing complicated or free flowing rugby. They've a solid set piece, a good set of forwards and a good defence. They had all the ingredients a few years ago, but couldn't out it together. Erasmus hasn't done anything groundbreaking. They do the basic stuff well.

England just didn't turn up at all today, really unexpected.

Gatland was correct - England played their final last week

I'd say Warren Gatland is having a good laugh watching this.

I thought a could support the poms but as the game started my true colours made themselves felt. Just couldn’t do it. Master class from Rassie. An Erasmus scholar.

No because the ball can travel forward with momentum

It's about how it leaves the hands though. The ball can still travel forward due to the passer's momentum..

The line might not help really

very satisfying to see the arrogant English getting hammered

A lot of us thought that was the final - england included; their mistake

Fair play, SA. Much better than last week, but really feels like England have been inside their own heads since the game began, and have been nowhere near accurate enough.
