Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A lot depends on the first 10 or so of the second half. It’ll tell a lot about if England can live with nz for rest of match

is anything more annoying than rte player during ads?

A betting man would at this point put the house on New Zealand.

England in the final as favourites and this world cup would officially be a complete disaster

Why? Because England have gotten further than Ireland? This World Cup has been an unmitigated disaster for Ireland regardless of who plays in the final.

Super first half from England. 10 points return isn't a true reflection of their dominance.

Suffocating the life out of the All Blacks.

The big questions are can they sustain it and will Farrell reappear for the second half?

A real hammer blow if he doesn't,pun intended.:D

How so? England have been great in 2019 in fairness, probably the form team. If you look at all their games this year they've been piling on 30+ points in the majority of their games.

They need to score early next half tho

NZ have no answers to England's defensive structure.

England have been really impressive on both sides of the ball, although their attacking game has dropped a level in the last 10 minutes.

As things stand England will win this game and probably with a bit to spare.

hopefully ferris will have an original thought now

So flogging a dead horse is adult behavior? Ireland's head coach is gone. Maybe the bloody moaners should follow another team, just like in the soccer.
The tripe on here is exactly childish, adults put the past (and it is the past) behind them and move on with their lives.

Looking for every opportunity to bad mouth your own team, well you know what, I don't actually have a word for that.

    What are you on about.

This is the semi ireland where supposed to be in.
It is completely relevant to watch it in that context.

Otherwise we will be back to same mistakes and hype next time.

It's an issue because NZ can score from anywhere at any time, they've shown that against everyone.

England will increase the score tally in 2nd,NZ have got stuck in a cul de sac, this is Englands game.

Hard to do for a full match and NZ will have chances. A second try would be more challenge for them to get back into it.

England much more adept at controlling NZ attack than we were.

Ten points isn’t enough I feel. NZ could still turn it on after a severe bollocking a few personnel changes.

    "only" 10 points in it.
Eddie Jones would have bitten your arm off for that score at HT.

thing is that scoreline doesn't flatter them 1 bit.

Well, we could barely control our own ball so not a fair comparison!

A betting man would at this point put the house on New Zealand.

That’s probably why most betting men generally lose more than they win.

No, but with that level of dominance they should be further ahead.

Great play from Eng, power and off loading game standing well to them. But 10 points? Next score will be telling.

If nothing else, nice to see the smiles wiped off the AB faces 😀

Feel bad for NZ, being humiliated here, but at the same time Steve Hansen is such a bitter, whiney man, I can’t wait to see him being interviewed after. It’s going to be delicious.

NZ had it too easy last week, after a long lay off.
Assumed they would have it the same way again.

Need to be better in 2nd half or Eng will batter them

England will win this one, only a red will save NZ.

Have the All Blacks ever previously been held scoreless in a first half??

Two words that keep running around my head watching this:

    Eddie Jones

The guy is a canny little genius

    eddie jones just as bad

his lack of humility really galls me

Look, if England replicate the first half performance, the low point tally lead is moot. No BPs to be had here. Plus England will get a try, once they have flexed their defensive might and sucked all hope out of Hansens men.

Who is it relevant to? There's a new coaching team, a new attack coach, how is relevant? It's been a week already of a spam-fest of Ireland bashing. I've seen guys with 100 posts reach 500 posts doing nothing but Ireland bashing.
Joe's gone, it's that simple, there's no one left to bash.

    In a world cup? Once.

I don't think they've ever come back from more than 7 points behind at halftime in a world cup match.

Ah, you’d allow them to take NZ to the cleaners. The ABs deserve a beating now & then.

Sam Cane on at half time.

Admission from Hansen that he got his selection dead wrong.

Nonsense, we could perform at this level with right setup and more clinical execution.

So the English rugby who insisted on playing here in the 1970s, height of troubles, when others would not?
The same England who promised backing for 2023 and actually followed through?

    That England?
This is a rugby forum and not a political or republican one

Whatever about England as the seat of parliament, England as the Rugby nation has always treated Ireland ok
