First pub pint in weeks and I got a seat right beside a big roaring open fire. Aaaah toastyness rules.

I got three 1kg nets of small red potatoes in Lidl and they are absolutely divine, they don't need any butter or dressing.

Th that someone invented a hot blanket and I can sit down in a cosy space without having to be paranoid about how much the heating will cost.

For some reason, Warner Bros. have but the full Michael Collins film on their YouTube channel. I've been fancying a rewatch for years but it's never been on any of the streaming services.

Similar to that, they've put Barry Lyndon on YT too and I've been meaning to make myself watch it

That's on the watch later list now along with Michael Collins

Can't remember why paramount are doing this but remember seeing it written about this week somewhere..

TH at any rate, good quality, no ads and free!

I'm usually wary. I found a channel with full films early this year and since I wasn't on any streaming services, I gave it a go. Lighting seemed off and the audio was at a weird level.

This is from the actual rights owners so it should be grand.

My TH became a TA - they've removed Barry Lyndon 😅 so I'd watch it quick before they remove it

(also I said paramount earlier ofc I meant Warner bros!)

Plenty of dodgy full free films on YT but can be lucky with the odd oldie in good quality

I'll be keeping an eye on their channel though, they might upload Amadeus or similar which are difficult to find

Anyway my TH for now is having had a lovely bowl of ramen, spicy and warming. Not the healthiest but I feel like crap and this is my wee rebellion in protest

I bought my interview suit about 4 years ago. The top end of the jacket sleeve was too tight(as is often the case in women my age). On Thursday, I tried it on again, and they weren't tight anymore.!!!

Unlikely I've lost weight in that time so I can only assume the teeny tiny weights I've been working with have toned my arms there!

I always like to laugh at some of the weird things you find in charity shops.

Sometime during COVID, I followed a Romanian rescue dog on Twitter, a while later I saw a post from a woman who was at her wits end with her Romanian rescue bc of the trauma the dog(s)endured and how terrified they were in their new homes.

The lady asked if anyone knew any Romanian dog rescuers who could help, I pointed them to the first dog's thread, today I saw a photo of the two dogs running around in a dog park happy as larks(dog parents looked happy enough as well)

    Awww!

folks having a clear out and found a rare vinyl 78… The Platters - Only You.

One listed for £786.01 on eBay…. That eBay one is absolutely scratched to bits stained and still roughly that value apparently…. Bit of a find… must do more research…

Trump signing those orders with a big black marker like you would give to a child. Then showing it to camera. Wouldn’t you think he would have had a fancy pen?

It just amused me seeing a big thick black marker, not very statesman like at all.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

For years now I’ve been coming up with my own personal nicknames for the regulars at my bus stop and on the bus every morning. The current regulars are…..

Gladys Good-day - A pleasant enough lady with pale blond hair who also works in the same place I do. She always wishes the bus driver a good day when she gets off the bus.

Pret a Stinker - A reasonably good looking young man with a black beanie hat and high vis vest. Sadly he smokes rollies at the bus stop which stink.

Chunkhips - Another young man with black hair, glasses and rather ample hips and legs which he likes to show off by wearing the tightest skinniest jeans possible. His full nickname is Charles Horatio Unkhips esquire.

Surly Gurglesplutter - A shaven headed bearded fella who gets on the bus at a stop much further away. He lets off these extremely sudden thunderous gurgling coughs which make him sound like he’s passing a 15lb baby out of his rectum.

Thinking there will be some amount of children named after storms within the next year, for a start there is not much left to do if there is a power cut.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

must have in the end gotten about 5 and a half hours sleep. At one stage it was looking like zero … so that has set me up for the day, definitely a TH…

The alarm unset itself so I decided to do a walk around in case someone was being nefariously opportunistic…probably an overreaction but fûck it…
