Had similar with MidDoc with little G. Sky. Stretched. Very unhappy with the service too. Not happy with the attitude towards me as Daddy, anyway. And I was handing over cash. A few years ago. Chest infection.

That's actually not bad....we rang at 9pm couldn't get an appointment until 2 following afternoon ...this was for a non fading purple rash on a 3 yr old..... Ended up in Temple Street warned it was a 7 hour wait but triage prioritised us...turned out fine just viral...... Don't know why but rashes and temperatures always happen at bed time.

Yeah that was the fear, we rang north doc I think it's called, then vhi nurse obviously not seeing the rash no one could confirm. No sleep was going to be had anyway, had to get a babysitter for the baby, stalled the car I don't know how many times driving through the city....it was not a night I'd repeat in a hurry :)

It was maybe 2 months after chicken pox so the scarring was throwing up questions for the triage nurse too as she wasn't sure if it was part of the rash.

He has had a rough start in life and seems to be one of those children that picks up absolutely everything. When he gets a viral infection it's always a non fading rash, but you can't ignore it.

So sorry to hear that about your little one.

I had Meningococcal when I was nine back in 1981. A real struggle back then. Our Ladys Crumlin saved my life. It's the one killer disease that I watch out for with my little girl. So many are still oblivious to it.

Bedside, still giggling to myself over something that happened earlier. There’s a lad that I fancy the arse off and his GAA team are playing a very big game this weekend. The GAA team had posted the team for the game on Sunday and he’s in it. My mam came across the team on Facebook and showed me the picture of him, which made me laugh. Then about an hour later, my best friend sent me a screenshot of the very same photo :pac::D no idea why this makes me laugh so much but it does!

At work with a coffee. A very hot coffee that has burnt my tongue. I hope no one is expecting to be talking to me today or they will be getting covered in spray.
