A minus 8 in the bag from last weeks transfers. Now I'm 90 percent certain I'll be wildcarding this week. Got to love this game :-)

    Wildcard played:
    Currently on

    Ederson
    Wan Bissaka, Digne, Zinchenko, Dunk
    Mane, Sterling, Martial
    Kane, Pukki, Barnes

    Button, Dendoncker, Douglas Luiz, Lundstram

Only going to change things about anther 100 times or so before the deadline.

Likewise - actually did well today; 49 with Perez and maybe Greenwood to play (and got 80 last week) but think circumstances are pushing me to wildcard.

Have Robertson and TAA and they are only value if they are getting attacking points AND clean sheets. Attack wise both still looking good but don't think they are going to justify there prices over next 5/6 weeks.

I also have Digne who looks to be injured, Rico and Guillbert who aren't playing so my defence is in trouble.

My midfield is Salah, Sterling, KDB, Perez, McGinn with King, Greenwood, Parrott up top. Having doubts about only 1 striker so would probably go back to Dendoncker as a 4.5 in midfield. Would also probably get Kane in as capatin home to Newcastle which would mean getting Salah out which is a big call but Kane's home fixtures look good and think I might auto capatin Sterling for next while.

Can also the get the likes of Barnes, Pukki, Mount, Martial who are emerging as the value.

Going to think hard on it tonight before price changes.

    think Zinchenko was injured today

Great team. Was gonna say go Cantwell over Dendoncker.

Only problem, looks like you will be playing him every week - which may not be a back thing

Gonna sit on mine for the foreseeable future

    Happy with my team

    Tempted & looking at

    Adrian (4mil fodder)

VvD Laporte Mina Lundy (4.5m defender)

    Mane Sterling Trossard Ceballos Cantwell

    Kane Kean (7mil forward)

Anyone thinking of wildcarding needs to think about players who could become must haves but haven't played much yet, and how you would get them into your team, for example Son or Eriksen could be 2/3 transfers to fit in. Likewise Aguero or Auba, expensive players but explosive and both players have some good fixtures coming up over the coming weeks.

Would you wildcard this lot or persist?

    Ryan Pope
    Digne taa dunk Zouma targett
    Salah siggy martial bilva mcginn
    Kane King greenwood

The team does not look that bad to me.

Looks alright but not delivering the points unfortunately. Had a bad start last season and same again this year

Poor start, Digne, Zinko, Barkley all injured or dropped

    Looking at going to

    Pope/McGovern
    Coleman/Christensen/Lundstram/Pieters/Walker-Pieters
    Salah/KDB/Sterling/Ceballos/Dedonkey
    Kane/Pukki/Greenwood

Would I be mad to play my WC now? I usually wait til the international break but not sure I can afford that right now.

    Current team:
    Heaton Pope
    Laporte VVD Robertson Rico Lundstrum
    Barkley Perez Sterling Salah Dendoncker
    Kane Ings Greenwood

    WC Team:
    Heaton Pope
    AWB VVD Zinchenko Kelly Lundstrum
    Mount Mane Sterling Ceballos Dendoncker
    Rashford Pukki Kane

Keep just tweak over the coming weeks. Zouma could have a clean sheet today.

I would look over time moving out targett and bilva.

I know you have greenwood as bench fodder but maybe try to bring in someone who will get regular mins.

I thought targett would be a starter, him bilva and greenwood will possibly be moved out alright

Targett to lundstrom frees up .5

Bilva to martial frees up .3

    Greenwood to a striker 5.3

Bilva to someone much cheaper and you could have loads of spare cash. I personally went bilva to Cantwell to use cash elsewhere.

You don't need to do do all these moves straight away for points hits.

Pulled the trigger already, I’d double Liverpool and double Everton defence, Barkley, Siggy and Perez

I am really considering WC'ing. Need to get Barkley out, also pool looking dodge at the back same too Chelsea have vVD & kouma. Norwood and Wesley have offered me nowt so they need changing too...

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,126 ✭✭✭The real mccoy 91

Was trying to play patient this year but feel it may hurt me 2fts but I'm not sure it's enough

    Foster norris
Taa vvd Maitland niles guilbert Johnson
    Salah sterling barkley fornals Ricky
    Wesley Wilson Gallagher

    Its either
    Taa --> lowton
    Barkley --> mount
    Wilson --> kane

    Or time to wildcard

    Latest version

    Pope/McGovern
    Walker/Dunk/Lundstram/Soyuncu/Walker-Pieters
    Mane/KDB/Sterling/Ceballos/Cantwell
    Kane/Pukki/Jota

Jota could become Barnes but I’d have a lot more faith in Jota and Wolves, even with the europa league

    Walker or Digne?
    Dunk or Pieters?

I'd consider Mina if I were you. He looks a baps monster and carries some attacking threat from set pieces. Dunk over Pieters.

Unless Digne ends up being out injured get him. I think he is terrific value

Any other comments on that line-up?

The likes of Pukki and Ceballos look like great picks, I had the choice of putting together the cash for Martial, downgrade the defence a little more but if hes on all set pieces for Arsenal then hes fantastic value

Is this your big at the back team ? If yes then I’ve no idea why you jumped so soon.

I was going to respond earlier but someone else did and you said it was too late as you’d already hit the button. I think that was a rash move.

I don’t like any of your back line except Lundstram. And yes I would go Digne over Walker.

I don’t like Ceballos or Cantwell or Pukki. Not yet anyway.

My strategy was only 1 premium defender from the start. If I was using WC now I’d have 3 of them and start them all with Lundstram.

WC now needs Everton attack and West Ham attack. Siggy and Lanzini for me.

I’d also be looking for an attacker from Man United, Southampton and Chelsea.

    Edit - and Maddison

Well I had two liverpool defenders and just dont want them with Adrian in goal, at all.
I had Heaton who was a horrible mistake
    Greenwood taking up a spot
    Barkley on Chelseas bench
Perez has shown very little and I had siggy, I disagree on Everton, maybe when Kean comes in
Digne and Zinko both went off injured at the weekend too and I had no Sterling

    Thats a lot of surgery

I'd disagree on Pukki and Ceballos, even for team value alone they are good
Lundstram wouldnt be near the team but for his price, I know he got a goal but hes a defensive midfielder right?

Lanzini I could definitely get on board with but who goes? I love the thought of having Mane-KDB-Sterling, cabellos is the value, so its Cantwell and get rid of Kane to make it happen? Say Wilson/Lanzini instead of Kane/Cantwell.

United are great value but from a non-FPL POV I think they're a train wreck waiting to happen, and I'll have the popcorn out when it does, so I'd nearly prefer not to be cheering on the c**ts

On the premium defenders, City look like the only team capable of keeping CSs regularly at the moment, thats why my "premiums" are a kinda fudge at the moment KWP - spurs are as likely to keep a CS as Liverpool at the moment IMO and hes cheap plus we saw last year he has an eye for an assist. Dunk and Soyuncu fair enough its a matter of trying to pick the right lad for the right week
