A bit harsh on Son surely, I thought he played well at the weekend and looks like he is good for goals/assists going forward. Maybe a reflection of a spurs team in a bit of chaos?

It's all about check your score Sunday night. Do your transfers same night. Then do nothing and watch the points roll in the next weekend. Easy.

Also if I was Martial's manager I'd be keeping him for the league games only.

He may well be rested as he is just back but United should be going out to win the League Cup

HAd a look on FFFix and FPLStats about 10:30 and he was miles off on both (40% on one, 70% on the other)

Fcuking sick of checking fplstats last thing before going to sleep, seeing my players nowhere near a drop but then waking up the next morning to find they have dropped! At this stage, I think it's better to just log in on a Sunday evening to check points and transfer in somebody who scored big that weekend and not think about it again for the rest of the week. OK players can get injured during the week but waiting didn't help when I transferred in Boly with a broken leg but not a peep about it!

Price changes is one thing which separates casuals from serious players. The serious players are the ones providing most of the traffic on the site and posting on social media, making the game more popular. Any other business would be focusing on their regulars. FPL should provide some transparency and give an actual indication. If nothing else, it would drive more clicks on their site which could be used to increase revenue. I blame FPL, not the ancillary sites.

The stuff that happens on field (players not returning, getting injured/suspended, player you just sold getting a big score after weeks of 2s, etc.) but that is part and parcel of the game. The price changes just **** with you and is clearly being influenced by people because it doesn't seem to correlate with ownership statistics. Some can get a huge proportion of transfers out without a drop while for others a drop takes very little. For example, KDB not dropping in GW8 despite his ownership dropping below what is was in GW6 when he was 0.2 cheaper! Ota is still in far more teams now at 5.3 than when he was 5.4 a few weeks ago. How Denis Suarez dropped in price almost every week all season despite having practically 0 ownership is a mystery up there with the secrets of Fatima!

Sorry about the rant but my team value has been decimated in the last couple of weeks despite putting in a lot of effort to preserve it.

My team value continues to rise (my overall rank not so great!). I usually do my transfers on a Sunday and very rarely get caught out by injuries later in the week. Yes I'm influenced by the big scorers in the week but I also have a plan in my head on who I want in.
