I drink so little, that I merely get tipsy nowadays, if even.

    Favourite tipple?

    Bruce Springsteen, Nolan Park.

Do you ever eat from the hedgerow or orchard?
(I'm eating an apple now from my uncle's garden, very nice).

I occasionally eat blackberries, if I think the ditch hasn't been sprayed.

What's the most you've ever spent on a meal out, and was it worth it?

I remember just before the crash taking my mam out to dinner.
It was a pub that had set up a back room for evening meals, was supposed to be thee place.
45e per head set menu. Cramped space, nearly sitting on the guys lap beside me. No staff so slow service. Freezing cold room. And we came home starving from the tiny, arty portion sizes and ate toast!
That was rural Ireland BTW, not Dublin.

Are you good to complain about bad service?

I would be, but I wouldn't be rude in doing so.

Do you get on with your neighbours?

I promise to spill the beans whenever the appropriate thread poses the relevant question.

Which TV character would you fancy yourself as?

Are you a Brendan o Connor fan?

Think I am becoming more tolerant of him as a presenter. Remember he had a guest on who has Tourette’s. Thought he handled the difficult interview very well.

We were discussing this saying tonight re partners: It’s better to be an old man’s darling than a young man’s slave. What do you think?

  • Registered Users Posts: 18,582 ✭✭✭✭The Princess Bride

I disagree, although my mammy is trying to fix me up with a widower 27 years older than me:eek:

What's the biggest age gap difference you've dated?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,205 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

I guess so, but I'm not into men so I mightn't be the best to answer your question HB.

    EDIT: 5 years younger

Ever been to an NFL American football game?

100%. I'd never date someone younger than me. Spent my 20s mammying a few.

Do you agree with the beef farm protesters?

Never at AFL game - think the breaks would kill me. Would love to go to a baseball game though.
Haven’t kept up to speed with protests. Was chatting with a guy on Friday who is being laid off.

Have you ever attended a protest march?
