Don't even know what that is.

    Can you do the Rumba?

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

No. That would most definitely be my hardest dance to pull off - a LOT of confidence needed. Tbh, there have only been a few Strictly rumbas I’d watch again.

    Karaoke song of choice?

Don't do karaoke, but I'd sing along to oasis wonderwall if I had to

    Your song of choice?

Ever taken part in a property auction?

Never took part but watched one,the bidding wars get a little loco.

    Favorite vacation place?
I don't get the urge to go away often but I like to visit a close friend near Dartmoor which is an atmospheric place.

    Do you practise mindfulness/gratitude?

edit: if I was forced to sing karaoke at gunpoint I'd sing Black Velvet by Alannah Myles.

I'm always grateful for the good in my life.

    Your favorite Christmas memory?

From childhood, a lot of soot falling down the chimney just before bed. Of course I thought Santa Clause was above, on the roof, biding time until I went to sleep.

    Yours?

It will sound strange but, my bed. It was hand made for me and there's a carved message to me on inside of the mattress frame. There's another message at the back of a mirror made at the same time.
I have some found natural objects given to me that mean an awful lot to me too.

Are you happy by nature or would you choose a different word?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,206 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

    Happy enough, I guess

Would you make a good or bad poker player? And why?

Maybe a good one because I'm very good at reading people's faces. And now I have Kenny Rogers "The gambler" stuck in my ear.

Do you ever cycle rather than drive?

No not if I had the choice of something freshly cooked.

What celebrity chef would you like to cook for you? What would you ask them to cook?

Yes, proper moonshine. Mixed with warm water and a little sugar.

What was your first ever pet?

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

A family pet sheepdog. He was beautiful.

Did you ever have to stand at a gap on a farm?

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators Posts: 80,050 Mod ✭✭✭✭Sephiroth_dude

    No

    What does that entail?

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

It was a very boring “job” Seph! Our farm wouldn’t have had the best fencing when I was growing up and there were plenty of gaps in ditches (aforementioned sheepdog, while beautiful wasn’t living up to his name). Cue, a gaggle of us kids having to fill the gaps when animals were being moved from one field to another. I’d say I spent a Summer of my childhood standing in a gap.

Do you own a pair of wellingtons?

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators, Social & Fun Moderators Posts: 80,050 Mod ✭✭✭✭Sephiroth_dude

    No

    Can I borrow yours?

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

    No problem (I’ve 3 pairs!)

Visitors here atm. How do I politely send them on their way?

    Start brushing your teeth.

    Would they get the hint?
