That is like asking “Who is your favourite child?” (or in my case dog/cat/duck!) Everyone who contributes to the “wherers” thread is so lovely!

My repertoire is few tunes on the accordion.

    What about you?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

Not any more. Thank fuq with the budget today.

    Who is your icon?

I don't idolize anyone & I'm not a fan as such but I think Maureen O'Hara was a pretty class act. Although a bit pious.
Women of my grandmother's generation are usually made of strong stuff and I greatly respect them.

I'll carry the same question forward

    Who is your icon?

not really tbh it can be mean spirited and the lowest form of wit. Sarcastic people get very tedious.

    You?

We love our period dramas in my family (or more accurately, the females do) so I’d say before then. North & South (the UK version) is a big favourite (I wonder why ...)

Read it years ago and loved it. Friend was named after one of the characters and I was so envious of her having such an interesting name.

Do you like your own first name?
