A day like last week when just my son and I went to the Ploughing together was perfect.
His excitement was contagious and it was quality bonding time for the two of us in a festival atmosphere with all the time in the world to mooch around. Simple things.

I can remember aged perhaps 4, reading something all by myself for the first time.
I ran to tell my dad.
I still read a lot, so this memory is very special for me.
