Looks like the most 'intense' area will run up through the midwest and into the north midlands as the afternoon and evening wears on. Here in Galway, it neither feels or looks all that thundery to be honest.

Oh yeah sure you do know also that the lightning they get in the West is not as good as the lightning we get here in the east and Dublin area??

Really? Didn't know that. Makes sense when I think about it, we get all the good stuff as things don't really matter once you go outside the pale

Just standard moderately heavy rain here. I've seen worse. Not even a flicker of a breeze which makes the increasing humidity levels feels worse. 15.0mm in the 'oul bucket so far.
