From memory... Orla also used this phrase when posting her reasoning on thinking I was dodgy.... Just an interesting and possibly useless piece of information. Maybe I need a break and a coffee as much as Wendy needs a nap! :pac:

I do need a nap, that much we agree on :p

Just after copping the answer to the riddle is death.

Is this a Riddler trick, where unfortunate gets killed off who enters.

Knew I was going to be busy, so got entry in without thinking too much.

    Went with 11 for both

The Citizens of Gotham that won the prizes will be notified shortly

Too obvious to say villagers won it?

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,709 ✭✭✭Henry WW

I am very shocked that the higher posters like Wendy and Co. haven't been targeted.

Af the Rogues trying to make us think they are evils. Or are they just actually evils?

    Well that's interesting. Fuuuckk.

    Frank was right...

    Death

The answer to the riddler's quiz was death and so is your reward

    Tegan WW has been killed

    she was
NRV - Citizen of Gotham and unbeknownst to herself Dr Chase Meridian

    RIP fair Doctor

Hard luck Teagan, can’t say I’m happy that I was right but hopefully my warning saved a few!

What number did Tegan go for

A good way to gain some villager credit some might say.

Good call Frank, we will need to be more careful entering the competitions going forward if they mention The Riddler

Maybe I’m being super paranoid but these look like separate “competitions”. Why in two different posts? Could this be a riddler trick and maybe one person of whoever enters may be chosen by riddler for a nasty demise.

    Competition... Singular , not competitions.

Fair play to you Frank. You made me think about this too and I thought something was up when death was the answer. So I didn't enter. I didn't win the other prize either.

I would assume there is no way to get out of the Riddler things. The mods wouldn't allow us to just not enter. That would just break the whole game.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,818 ✭✭✭Phil WW

Tegan was NRV - Citizen of Gotham and unbeknownst to herself Dr Chase Meridian

So this explains some of the naming confusion I reckon. Some are NRV+ with character name, some are NRV with name and some are NRV but don't know their name.

I'll go 7 for each. Hopefully will get both in b4 meeting starts

Do we think the mods picked a different number for each comp or did Tegan win both?

Huh?? Competitions provide you with the choice to enter, it doesn't break anything if no one enters as it's optional

Well if no one had entered then no one would win the prize. It's hardly breaking the game. It would be like winning a bullet and not using it. That's not breaking the game.

I don't think it will be the same next time, I reckon it will be a different tactic from The Riddler as we are aware of that one now but we still need to make sure we analyse the wording and the answers

No way of knowing tbh until a prize is used

Agree to disagree. I can't imagine the mods would create this mechanic only to have us loophole our way out of it. If we don't win it ourselves, the Rogues probably just get to pick an extra kill.

This is a very good point. Maybe we should stagger our numbers for future competitions, to ensure that wouldn't screw us over?

Not me. How quickly did Doris respond yesterday?

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,104 ✭✭✭Wendy WW

Look, IF it was the same number for each competition - Tegan got killed, so it would go to the nearest number, either 6 or 8.

But as I said, there's no way of knowing definitively so it's all just WIFOM

She was pretty quick but she was online, the person who won could be AFK, I would condemn them yet

We should probably be careful about coming out with prize declarations actually.

The Rogues or SK/Harley team could have things that could negate their usage, or extra kills that they could simply use on the prize winner before they get to utilise it.

    Thoughts?
