Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It was bound to happen, am surprised something like this hasn't happened sooner with light tubes.

They’re all ready mass producing them apparently. WWE about to Merch the heck out of the Lucha Bros

Kevin Steen trademark was renewed recently. Could be a contract ploy but I have a feeling he could jump ship.

KO could go if the money is available. He has done all he can and taking the money while AEW are willing and able to pay it has to be considered. Once (if?) they (ever) get to the point of needing to sustain itself those big deals won't be around.

For WWE and AEW people moving is a big help for freshening things up within their rosters.

KO is a weird one. I remember all this talk last time his contract was coming up but he re-signed all the same, and that was when Vince was still in charge and AEW were hot as hell.

He's definitely done everything he could do in WWE. I mean even since he renewed his contract he got to main event a night of Mania and win the tag titles with his best friend and have a Mania match against Stone Cold, which would be anybody's dream match. Is there anything left for him to do? I don't know if he's going to get a world title again anytime soon.

In AEW, he'd be top of the card, you'd imagine. He has plenty of friends there and AEW have already made it clear through the dirtsheets that they'd make an offer for him. He'd have plenty of fresh matches and a change of scenery.

So it comes down to personal preference. The money will be there on either side. If he's happy with his lot in WWE (and it seems he has always been happy there by most accounts) or if he'd like to mix it up with a new roster and chase titles he probably won't get in WWE anymore. Could see him walking but wouldn't be surprised if he stayed either. I mean once Edge left I think the idea of a WWE-lifer was pretty much done.

I can't see either of them leaving, as they will have a job for life in a company they always dreamed of being a part of.

I don't see the upside of them giving that up.

You could have said the same thing about Edge he has a job for life in the company he followed as a child but then left for AEW?

Big Money, lighter schedule and dream matches are hard to turn down.

Don’t see Owen’s leaving the Fed he will sign a huge new contract and continue in the same role he is in now but on a lighter schedule.

I think KO has been teasing a Cena match during his "farewell tour"

I hope KO stays in WWE, same with Sami, even as an Edge fan I think his AEW time has not been great and dare I say kinda tarnishes his legacy, it sort of works for some, the big move but not others, I still want to see Bryan and Dean (Jon) back in WWE one day, a Shield reunion would be epic

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,255 ✭✭✭The White Wolf

I think Edge is an anomaly in that he was disappointed with his last run in WWE, coupled with wanting to reunite with Christian. Owens and Sami on the other hand have had a great decade for the most part joining WWE.

Plus I don't think the lighter schedule is much of a plus when you end up jumping off the top of a cage to disastrous results.

Not soon anyway. Held up GCW for money and they decided to stop dealing with him. He literally bumped his rate from 1k to 4k per show lol. His attitude will do him no favours anyway, known to no show events and refuses to put people over. I wanted to book him for one of my shows but was strongly advised against it.

Rev-Pro putting on what could be a real fun weekend in November.

£55 for a fontrow ringside ticket for both nights seems like a good price.

They really have the option to do the ultimate swerve and resign with AEW at the last minute.

i think a heel run with the belt for KO will have been discussed in the contract negotiations. Always liked him way better as a heel.

I love the Lucha Bros and i'd have been of the opinion of hating them go to WWE but there isn't much more for them to do in AEW

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,894 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

HHH’s booking of tag teams isn’t great and the WWE’s general booking of Latin talent isn’t great either. Just hope the Lucha Bros are getting really big money. I’m also not sure they will keep the current versions of their names as there is a convoluted ownership rights to there names going way back to AAA days.

They are very good at their own marketing anyway and have just opened their own shop Republic of Lucha.

Republic of Lucha has been opened for years and even moved locations. I would argue AEW hasn't done a great job with Latin talent either apart from Thunder Rosa and the Lucha Bros to an extent. Throwing everyone in with Alex is a bit annoying as he just comes off as a big geek and it kinda kills the edge of some of them.

Nick Gage is in treatment and some scummy promoter offering him money and drugs to leave treatment to appear at a show.
