Sickened I fell short in the Flipz mailing. Entered everyday. Generally fruitful in competitions that take a bit of persistence.

Going through such dry spell re: Comp wins. Nothing in about 18 months.

Thanks to all posters.. this month I've won lunch cooler bags, a book- one4all voucher , home grown veg kit , Heineken merch( dont know what yet) and a walden accoustic guitar.

Is anyone else getting lots of calls and /or texts from strange numbers recently?

I’m convinced they got my number from some competition I entered in the past. It’s very annoying.

I even got a text message the other day claiming to be from DPD that included my full address in the message! I called DPD and they told me it was a scam. Beware!

Strange calls, yes they are pretty common now it seems. Haven't gotten any texts though. I put it down to the HSE hack, started happening shortly after that I think.

Finding it funny that I didn't win the MALFY comp as I entered everyday using 4 different phones, and there were 100 prizes, I think!

I don't think you missed anything. I got daily ones from Dublin numbers that turned out to be Behaviour and Attitudes surveys. Just answered it in the end, and told them I’m half deaf and please remove me from their lists. Been quiet ever since.

There was also a UK one that I ignored and google showed to be a scammer number.

Heineken one arrived today- hat, lanyard with bottle opener, tshirt, football and a hat....

So that's probably my wins til next year😁

Anyone else entering the coca cola just eat text comps where they give away a voucher every hour? It says you can only enter once per mobile and then that 12 draws take place from all valid entries received during the time period (e.g. once per hour). But you can only enter once, not once per hour so if you didnt get picked, you can't enter again?

Seems a bit mad. I did try and I got a text back saying I can only enter once.

Got my mystery Heineken merch today, answered the door to a delivery truck driver saying truck for merch delivery to him,

2 others get out and open the back door, three men carry in a 3m long box struggling with the weight.

After getting to sleep at 7-30 yesterday I got a text at 9 saying my prize would be delivered between 10:17 and 11:17am (very precise).

I dragged myself out of bed.

I'm still waiting. I'll probably get another text in the morning.
