So I didn't do too well in the hpat and can't get medicine. Would anyone know if it is worth moving to a European country to enter med school or stay in Ireland and do a different course. I definitely don't want to go through the graduate entry route. Thanks

I don't think you should give up hope yet, points may go down. If you really don't want to do an alternative degree or repeat the hpat next year then you should definitely look into going abroad. My friends brother didn't get into medicine in ireland so he's studying in Bulgaria, my mum's friend's daughter was in the same situation now she's studying in Malaysia. At the end of the day, the end goal is still the same.

Was in your situation 2 years ago. Studying medicine abroad comes with it's own set of challenges. If you can, repeat the Hpath. My friend had to do it 3 times but on the 3rd time he got in : )

Sorry I didn't read your post properly. If you definitely don't want to do anything, I would consider studying medicine in Poland. If you want to pm me, I can maybe advise you

Hi, have you tried Eunicas? It’s a €25 subscription fee but they give you info on EU medical programmes, deadlines, fees, entry requirements etc. I found it great. Just visit the website and see what you think.

Here are a few threads we have had on this before:

Some of the info might be dated, fees are probably gone up.

I still think it would be a better (easier/cheaper/more efficient) plan to repeat the Leaving and do a revision course for the HPAT.
