I'll be hoping for a good England showing, with Morgan as captain.

Fairly bitter taste watching it all go on without Ireland though.

All this hype around England... it just feels like they're setting themselves up for a big fall. Scores of 400+ are great and all but they're not the only way to win cricket matches. I expect them to comfortably makes the semis but once they're at that point they're only a few bad shots away from a sub par total. There's no room for error in the knockout phase.

yeah I think I agree with that, no surprise if they win it, but equally unsurprising if they shít the bed completely at some stage.

Ah yeah TMS is the best by a country mile, but Guerilla is fine too, they cover a lot of Ireland's games as well, for future reference.

    311/8 in the end

This is actually quite a good indicator of exactly how good England are. Their batting didn't quite fire so let's see how their bowling unit defend a fairly gettable target.

I can't seem to listen to Guerilla Cricket. Anyone else having issues?

Edit - Seems to be the firewall in work. Got it going now on mobile data

Hopefully England don't win the whole thing, don't think I could stand looking at Eoin Morgan picking up the world cup trophy.

The one against the Aussies at Trent Bridge was the better catch, in my opinion. He was fielding at gully (or 4th slip, maybe?) that day, consequently he had far less time to react than he had today. Also, the ball had more or less passed him when he snared it. Today's was a brilliant effort, no question about it. But the Trent Bridge one was better, IMO.

    This one .. ?

I think considering the height of today’s catch and the ground he needed to make today’s by a way surpasses it.

That's the one. Absolute stunner of a catch. Better than today's, for me. We'll have to agree to disagree.

you know Eoin Morgan has had a British passport since birth right?

His mother is English, so England could just as easily claim that Ireland were taking one of theirs.
