Just catching up now. Liked V5 and the act that's head and shoulders above everyone which is Megan McKenna. Megan is the clear winner for me.

Swing Low was one of the worst things I’ve ever seen. The rap in the middle, the fact the team got pumped in the morning anyway, Evans won’t be allowed set foot in Scotland again.

That Try Star song has come up on my Facebook feed. I watched it again for machochistic reasons and it's even worse in the cold light of day.

The brains that put this "group" together in advance thought they had a sure fine winner thinking that England would win the World Cup and that last night would seal the win for Try Star.

Well, it all backfired in spectacular fashion with last nights hilarious cringey performance. It could be a scene from a Ricky Gervais program. It 2as so bad, it was brilliant.

Apart from the fact that they have zero chemistry together, they have a distinct lack of personality and look like Dads doing drunk karaoke.

Try Star?

Try harder maybe.

Though i did love his face when Dermot mentioned his name.He couldnt believe he was a goner:D

If Martin had any integrity at all,he would leave the show before next weekend.

I love this thread because there's usually a great bit of slagging and banter here between posters who have watched it for a few years. But not even many of the regulars are engaged with this thread this year. Because the show simply does not work in this format.

There's no connection between the contestants and the audience, you don't really care who stays or goes, I mean Victoria was a good singer, but if you asked me now a day later, I can't remember what she sang.

I think a lot of that has to do with the fact theres no public audience.So you dont feel the connection.
