I mean to break even obviously. Otherwise it defeats the purpose of getting it. Way to pick on words for an argument, congrats.

    Thanks

Including recliner seats etc is big advantage over limitless from odeon imho. Pity the choice of fine as isn't as good screen size wise, in Dublin.

Looks like a good deal if you're visiting the cinema 3+ a month. Apart from the limit of no repeat viewings of the same movie, the only main drawback is the limit of 1 online booking at a time:
Why can't I book a MyOmniPass ticket online?

Do you already have a ticket pre-booked online? If yes, you can only pre-book one movie at a time, but can purchase tickets at the cinema box office for any standard show you haven’t seen. Have you already seen the movie? If yes, you can see every movie once with MyOmniPass. If no, please contact our MyOmniPass customer care team.
You can book tickets to see as many movies as you like on the day you are booking at the cinema (as long as you haven't seen it before and they don't overlap) . You can also 1 ticket online for a future screening.

So if I was to book a ticket for Spiderman: Far from home, I could not book another movie online until after the Spidey showing. (though I could book more at the box office).

Could be a major drawback blockbuster season, a minor inconvenience at other times.

Used it for first time tonight and for the 10% cinema treats, scanner can't read the barcode too well, so need to take a screenshot and zoom in. Bit fiddly

Limerick, took it over from Showtime a while back.

odeon Limerick are doing €5 euro any movie any time too i guess to compete with VUE.

So it would take 4 trips in Limerick to get value 😃

Seems to limit to one a day as well. Can't watch a flick and book another show after it. Also have to wait till after midnight to book free showing the day after seeing a film.

At just €18/month you do have to concede it's really good value for film buffs. Pity all the film's I watched so far with it have been real duds.

I signed up for a month not realising they locked you in for a year. Ridiculous!

Very clearly mentioned on the FAQ page

"Is there a minimum contract period for MyOmniPass?
Yes, the MyOmniPass is a minimum 12 month contract."

This is why you should read the T&C instead of just ticking the box...

But it's no problem, you have a 14 day cooling off period in which you can just cancel.

And what happens to the payment I made and the remainder of the month?

    Refunded.

Unless you've already used the service...

You're required to submit a photo on registration so I assume it will show up for staff to verify on scan of a ticket.

It does. When they scanned the barcode on my app the photo popped up as well on their screen.

Yes! I nearly made the same mistake.i thought originally it was a monthly thing that you could simply pick and choose what months you wanted.

Does anyone do this at Cineworld? Just curious on your thoughts.

Also curious if there would be anywhere to park a bike.

Signed up and went tonight for the first time.

Costs €12.60 for a recline screening so go twice a month and it saves money.

If you go to the cinema a lot or would like to go more often as I would it seems a no brainer.

So there's not really a monthy subscription cause you have to be locked into it for a year, seems very disingenuous.

Anyway, I have it for a year now

The staff also doesn't seem to understand the system too well. Ended up being charged for a ticket as I hadn't pre-booked it. They couldn't refund me and offered a free ticket which seems a bit redundant when you have an Omnipass.

Would be fine for Summer but when we get into the garbage months of the year it'll be no good.

They've never actually checked the photo for me, you could probably just take a chance and get away with it.

As funny as that is, I think if you want to change the photo you have to email now, so I'm guessing they'd reject a photo with two people
