I seem to remember the OK Garage was next to Victoria X Saw Mills and dealt mainly in tractors. Pope's garage where the Wylam now is was a Ford main dealer initially and Dennehys had the Austin agency . In later years Dennehys were Ford and Pope's were Austin.

Lehanes Toyota was previously a Renault Dealership. If I recall correctly it trades as Wilton Motors. Now as you said occupied by Aldi.

I remember football crazy. I jumped on the Blackburn Rovers bandwagon the year before they won the league and a BR shirt was my first soccer jersey. I brought another shirt in FC crazy to get Shearer printed on the back but they no R letters so I couldn't get it. About 2 weeks later he signed for Newcastle🤣

The Savoy Arcade was called 'Savoy family leisure'. Here's a bit of detail. I believe it was owned by an ex lord mayor or local businessman (possibly Derry?) but I worked in there as a student and saw the place open. At the the top of the stairs before you entered was a shop selling drinks and snacks. When you went in the doors there was a booth for coins / change on the left and on the right a few video games like motorbike games you sat on. There was a middle floor that was all video games like street fighter etc about 30 machines I'd say. The lower floor had a ball pit from the 2 slides that ran from the roof. There was also a simulator that looked like the shuttlecraft in the original Star Trek series. They also had the 1st Mortal Combat game on that floor which is still a classic game. The 360 gyro game was great as well. There was a stairs to the top floor/ roof level where people got on the slides. That ran down to the ball pit. On my last day I got to go down the slide about 50 times spaying Mr sheen to polish it as I went down which was good fun! The business went from a pay per game model to a 'pay to get in' model where everything was free once you entered and there may have been a time limit of a few hours. I think the place got quiet over time and ultimately stopped being profitable so it probably last 2 years or so.
