    Raining here, broken night sleep.

Back from the docs, painkillers and anti inflammatories prescribed. My back is, OK he says, muscle inflammation is my problem.
Take it easy for a few days also prescribed, he needn't have worried on that score, I'd be fit for damn all anyway.
But I must go for a hobble amongst the cattle at least, no one else here to do it.
    Coffee first though.

In bed, feeling ridiculously tired, but I didn’t sleep too well again last night. Can feel a slight pain in my shoulder when I move, so I’m hoping that won’t be a problem.

Great morning's work done at the coalface, bit of lunch now is well deserved

I'm in excellent form and nothing and nobody can ruin it. They better not dare.
I've a new apprentice for one of the things I work at and he's going to be so much craic. There's a 3 month heat wave coming, and I love working in the sunshine. And the part time proper job that fits perfectly into my spare evenings , when I don't want to see people I know , and it's just enough to cure the restlessness . Oh and money ...it gives me just enough to cure the terror of having to consider an office job, and to buy impractical underwear , and food ...that can be handy.

In from out, lovely evening, we're in the process of building an outside bbq/chill area in the garden, spent two hours at it this evening and it is really starting to take shape
