    Remember the white congealed fat around it in the tin..Anyone remember sandwich spread,I used to love it but my mam wouldn't buy it because it was too expensive .

    I remember that, I hated it. You should read the nostalgia thread in the food forum.

    Always loved a slice of fresh cut corned beef , but never in a sandwich !

    Duvet , loved sandwich spread !

    And there used to be little tins of vegetable salad , very tangy also !
