Rustry Anchor Chain

after 10 years my anchor chain is getting quite rusty and I need to clean the foredeck of flakes everytime I anchor - the chain looks structurally sound still though. Is it possible/worthwhile to regalvanize rusty chain and give it a new lease of life for another decade - any one done this? any recommendations on the south coast? do they dip it in acid first as a pre-treatment to remove the rust?
    Thanks for any advice.....
