I do apologise for the long delay in getting the scores up. I was away but then I completely forgot about it on my return.

After 78 games between the Liam McCarthy, Joe McDonagh, Christy Ring, Nicky Rackard and Lory Meagher championships, the preliminary winner (i.e. before all initial predictions are taken into account) is Davys Fits with 118 points. feargale finished 2 points behind with LuckyGent88 another 2 points back. The top three all predicted a Tipperary win so there was no change. Unsurprisingly due to the one sided nature of the result, no one got a bonus point in the final week. 9 people predicted Tipperary to win and got 2 points each.

Our 2019 Hurling Championship Pools Champion is Davys Fits! Congratulations to them.

In terms of the initial predictions, no one predicted Offaly to make the drop to the Christy Ring next season (with a lot of people instead predicting them to win the Joe McDonagh Cup. No one predicted that Down would make the Christy Ring final. And not a soul predicted for Sligo to make it two championship wins in a row with a number predicting their relegation to the Lory Meagher.

Unfortunately for everyone else, the poster who got the most initial predictions correct was our leader, Davys Fits. They made an impressive 8 correct predictions at the start of the season giving them 16 bonus points. This means that Davys Fits finished on 134 points, 6 points ahead of feargale in second. LuckyGent88, who led for a large portion of the season, came in third place with 122 points.

So congratulations to Davys Fits again for his well deserved victory. Commiserations to everyone else! But thanks to everyone for taking part and I apologise for the sometimes long delays in getting the scores done every week. A special thanks to PTH2009 for, without fail, putting up the next week's fixtures when I didn't get to them.
Think I should have enough time to get the NHL pools up and running in January, so keep an eye on the forum in early 2020 for those.
