I’m with VM now so I think the only way I can see this fight live is with now tv.
Had a look at their website and I don’t see anything about ppv with bt.
I’m not sure how exactly to do the 14 day free trial period, but I see you can get a 1 day or 1 week bt/premiere sports pack. If you were to get this will now tv allow you to pay a little extra for the ppv on bt sports??

Ya I was wondering this meself how does bt box office work alongside this.

Only reason I came across the idea of Now TV for the ufc was because a website linked them as one the options for watching the fight in Ireland.

I just asked the sky reps on here is it possible to get BT Box Office with now tv. Will have an answer tomorrow afternoon. If it doesn't work will have to get a 1 month Iptv sub

With the fight being at WW, will the extra weight he's carrying harm his cardio more or less than the lack of a weight cut helps it?

He's been more or less this weight for the last 3 years or so, maybe a lb or so heavier now. If his cardio isn't up to scratch in the fight I don't think the extra weight can be pointed to as the reason for it.

Agreed, if he cuts at all it will be negligible. I imagine Cowboy will have 8-10 pounds on him.

Kavanagh sounding confident, saying best he's ever looked etc... What was he saying before the Khabib fight can anyone remember?

He says the same thing before every fight, that's his job.
You can really compare the two different opponents or camps to be honest.

Is there many heading over from Ireland I wonder. Didn't even look at prices tbh couldn't justify another vegas trip for him.

It's easy for Dana and Conor to both say he will step in to face Khabib or Tony, but it will never happen, they will not let possibly the biggest fight in MMA be promoted in a few weeks ( or days depending if an injury happens)

depending what route he takes I feel either Gaethje or Masvidal at international fight week (July) then Usman or LW champ at MSG Nov.

    That will be 3 fights.

For others talking about Cowboy, per rankings its a matched fight 2 top 10's you can't really say its a bad match up?

For others saying up and comers will beat Cowboy with ease, Alex hernandez tried to be "that kid" and got TKO'd.

Dont get me wrong, i think Conor is a higher level than Cerrone and if he turns up with the Megregor 2020 season attitude it should be done in 1. but he isnt fighting a bum either, his last 2 loses were against 2 lads next in line for the title so he still holds some warrant

Yeah cowboy is like a gatekeeper now, beat him and you are possibly in line for a main event headline or title shot, like Keith Jardine back in the day at LHW.

    Usman would absolutely brutalise Conor.

I asked ‘now tv help’ on Twitter. They say they do not have the bt sports box off app setup for Ireland, so it’s not possible to watch on now tv.
So seems to me if you are with VM there is no possible/legal way to watch this or any ufc ppv event??

****. Still waiting to see what sky say about bt box office online. You can stream sky box office so I'm wondering can you do same with bt threw sky? Probably not seeing as now tv don't have it for Ireland.

Unless you have Sky, there's no legal/easy way to watch BT PPVs in Ireland.

They may still be free to air in some countries, and you could point a dish at a proper angle and tune in a station with certain set top boxes, but it's a lot of hassle.

Say for example my ma and da have sky but don't have sports would i be able to use there account to book the ppv and watch it online in another place?

I haven't checked recently, but Sky have never previously allowed third party channels stream on the Sky Player, but now that they're directly carrying BT, and it's not just a third party add-on, maybe.

    I'd test it before hand.

Also check that the PPV channels can be streamed on the Sky Player.

I've an Android box and have an App called Skylive.
You buy your subscription on Alliexpress. Its very easy to use.
I've used it for 2 years, normally get it when a big fight is coming up.
If it's either on PPV or BT/ SKY I've had no issues.

I have iptv meself just want something official as well if possible. That way no one can moan if it goes off during fight by chance ha.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,651 ✭✭✭US2

Sky rep just got back to me. The only way to purchase this PPV legitimately, is to have a Sky subscription. What a joke.

Ya I seen that. You can't even buy it on someone else's account and stream it elsewhere ffs.

So there's not one official stream anymore for Irish customers that can be bought without already being subbed to something else?

Watched all of Conors UFC fights whether i had bt or paid for a ufc stream but this one i won't be bothering, interest in mma has waned for me in the last couple years and all these added pay walls just makes it easier.

I'll probably watch it on a ****ty stream if i happen to be around but other than that i'm not gonna go out of my way to watch Ronda Rousey/Holly holm 2.0,because if Cowboy doesn't take him out around the middle rounds ill be surprised and i'm rooting for Conor but all the signs are there.

Always on iptv under live events ...if you can't get BT (or sky for the boxing) you'll get the Yank version

Its disgraceful an Irishman fighting and a lot of us wont be able to even watch it cause bt sport wont make the box office app available in Ireland yet skys box office app is. Bt sports suck, just have to look for free alternatives and I actually would've paid for it cause I'm a huge ufc and Conor McGregor fan.

With all the ****ing moaning from companies about piracy there pushing a lot of people into turning to it.

Makes no sense! Like I can't believe there's not one payed streaming option out there even via VPN.

It's very frustrating, I may just stay away from finding out what happened and get ****ty streams on you tube the next day but there's nothing like watching it live unfortunately bt are making that pretty impossible. Hoping someone on here has a solid solution.

There's plenty of decent iptv setups out there that will have ya sorted. I just like having the option of something official as well when theres few people watching!
