Cracking fight, hopefully for international fight week if it does happen.

Usman vs Masvidal is targeted to headline that, and Conor vs Gatche is no co-main. I don’t care when it happens as long as it’s in the near future, and I like this fight more than Diaz 3.

    My 2020 outline in January was;

    Conor v Cowboy
    Khabib v Tony
    Conor v Gaethje
    Masvidal v Woodley
    Conor v Khabib

I can see Conor absolutely smashing Gaethje in the first round, similar to the Cowboy fight. Finding it hard to get excited about it tbh but no doubt that will change if/when the promos come out.

I have a hard time believing that fight will happen. Ali manages both Justin and Khabib. It would be stupid to risk losing the fight which will obviously make much more money.

Will Usman vs Masvidal/Colby title fight be willing to go co main before a Conor vs Gatche headliner in Vegas in July?? Otherwise is there any way the Dublin event in August can be switched to a ufc number?? Gatche has said in past he would fight Conor in Dublin how awesome would that be tho I guess they always want Conor in Vegas to bring in the money.
I predict end of the year will be Khabib vs Conor in that sexy new Raiders stadium in Vegas.

Absolutely no chance the Dublin card will be changed to a numbered one

Absolutely no chance he announces any fight till after khabib v Ferguson

Time and venue wise, only option I see is Conor headlining Vegas in July with the talked about Usman title fight demoted to co-main, or else they do something with this Dublin date to make it possible to stage him. Otherwise he’s not fighting till Oct/Nov/Dec in Vegas.
He needs another win before being worthy of a title fight at end of year, so they gonna have to put Usman as co-main in July I guess. Conor vs Gatche and Usman vs Masvidal/Colby would be great.

Conor doesn't fight on stacked cards anymore. He doesn't want other fighters taking his PPV cut.

No fear of him fighting over here unless it's something he organises himself after he finishes with the UFC.
Likely fight would be v Gaethje in the next few months, but we'll see how that pans out.

Surely ufc is planning to have Khabib vs Conor as their first open air show in the new Raiders stadium in Vegas. Could this be as early as end of this year??
Will stadium owners allow this?? Football season will still be around end of the regular season then.
There was talk before of a big event in Dallas atnt stadium but never happened. I only remember Australia allowing something like this to happen. I guess the casinos in US have always insisted that Vegas does the biggest events so they should be ok with this stadium show.

I think Nate Diaz will also be very interested in fighting Conor in Raiders new stadium. He is from Oakland and he always wears a black T-shirt. Oakland is a real kip after watching sons of anarchy I will never go there.
In fact Khabib’s crew also wear all black, we all saw them kicking the cr@p out of the well suited Irish men in 2018 October. They will also be the home side in Raiders stadium.

Conor should borrow the Deontay Wilder ringwalk suit for his fight in Raiders stadium. This will scare Khabib or Nate.

That's not how it works. There isn't a single "ppv cut" pot that gets split between fighters. Each fighter with a ppv point deal on their contract gets a certain amount per ppv once the buys go above a certain threshold. What one fighter makes on pov points in no way impacts what any other fighter makes on pov points

Anyone know what this food Khabib and his crew is eating in his latest Instagram story?? It looks like a cross between a pizza and a apple tart. I dunno if it’s cheese in the middle or something more sweet like custard. But it looks so yummy. Are there any Dagastani restaurant in Dublin where I can get this if I ever find out what it is??

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,093 ✭✭✭Man Vs ManUre

I will show the video in my local dominoes to see if it’s something they can make.

What's this got to do with Conor Mcgregor's MMA career?
    More childish rubbish from you.

I hadn’t eaten since breakfast and my tummy was rumbling. I was watching Khabib on Instagram to get the latest mma news on his upcoming fight but all I saw was this delicious looking mystery food being eaten by his entire crew. You should check it out too. I need to get it, tho not for today as I just had my dinner, I had fish n’chips as today is Ash Wednesday.

You should set up a YouTube channel analyzing Conor's beard for clues to his next opponent

That's true but the end result is the same . Conor not fighting on stacked cards. The Reason being that the UFC don't want to have to pay out ppv points to other fighters that are much higher than what they would generate on their own merit beause of the fact they happen to share a card with Conor . They don't want the red panty nights cascading down the card onto people who have ppv points to buy rates stipulated in their contract .

This is an MMA forum...for MMA talk. You are just back off a month ban, I suggest you cut out the nonsense very quickly.

I don't think it's just the UFC wants to cut that down. Conor said himself he doesn't want others on the card getting a big ppv cut off the back of his work.

I think both aspects are valid factors.
If card generates $60m profit after expenses. That’s what Conor and the UFC are negotiating over. If two fighters on the under card are paid $5m each due to PPV sales, theres only $50m profit.
It weakens Conor position and increases UFC costs.

Gaethje will definitely accept the red panty night if it comes his way. He’s not one to play games or to dodge opponents. It’s impressive how he has said in past he would fight Conor in Dublin and has repeated it this week. The trash talk between him and Conor will get nasty tho, especially with Ali involved. It will be an exciting build up. If he wants to win the fight he should just go for takedowns like Khabib did, but he seems to like to slug it out too. It should be a great fight if it’s next for Conor it makes sense in every way unlike a fight vs Masvidal.
