Pink Floyd, well not since 1967 anyway and nearly in 1988. Gong, Kruder & Dorfmeister (Although announced for their debut at Body&Soul), Kate Bush.

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

Roger Waters has played here a few times, I saw The Wall in Aviva & another show in the o2 point 3 arena.
David Gilmour has not played here, love to see Nick Masons Saucer Full of Secrets but don't see him playing here either.

I saw Kruder & Dorfmeister in the Kitchen night club back in the mid nineties.
    They were awesome!

Boards of Canada have yet to play in Ireland although there was a plan to play a mini tour of the Ire and the UK, but for whatever reason it never happened

No he didn't. He rarely plays live gigs these days and Ireland hasn't been on his itinerary since 1984. Roger Waters did 2 shows in the 3 Arena last year.

Yeah he played at some writers function in Carlow dont think that counts. He did play here in the 80s though.

Poison also played here on the Native Tongue tour too so you can scrape them off the list too.

To be fair, Gilmour attending a writer's thing with his missus hardly constitutes playing does it? I assume we're talking about proper gigs here.

No, Elvis never left the US.

<pedant>He did actually leave the U.S. when he was stationed in West Germany with the U.S. Army but in his professional career he rarely played outside the U.S. as his manager could have been snarfed. Presley did play 3 concerts in Canada</pedant>

I don’t think the Doors, Hendrix, or Frank Zappa ever played here. Joy Division and Nick Drake are unlikely to have.

Strange one this but has Enya ever played a gig in Ireland? I'm not talking about a one off song but an actual full show.

One of the best gigs I've ever been to in Ireland. Outstanding.

I do wish they'd play their own gig sometime, in The Olympia or somewhere instead of festivals.
