This thread is normally a good read, but some posts in the past 24 hrs should be in the Humour thread instead.

Conditions could play a big part in today's games, still expect kilkenny and limerick to win though.
Summer hurling brings out some awful gowls on this forum.

Galway looking very dangerous when they're running at kk but they haven't gotten much out of the breeze. I'm a little more confident now than I was at the beginning, even though our full backs are feeling the pressure.

    Flynn keeping kk in it.

We are coughing up so many handy scores to Kilkenny who don't even have to earn them like we are.

Cody needs to take Murphy off Whelan
Johnny glynn is ferociously good in the air
Kilkenny look physically weaker then galway

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,162 ✭✭✭munsterlegend

Kilkenny forwards are very poor. No movement playing into Galway hands

    Bye bye Murphy.
He should have been taken off instead of Walsh.

Thats what I thought earlier too.

That looks a very harsh sending off though

Donal o Grady is a little biased

Don't know how Murphy can complain. He has been fouling all game.

    Finally Glynn taken off frees.

Harsh second yellow I think. Hard to get out of the way.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,544 ✭✭✭Stacksofwacks

    game over

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,302 ✭✭✭✭lawred2

Haha you have no grounds for complaint there Paul

Kk without TJ would be worse than average.

Another Galway goal, this could get nasty for kilkenny.

Easy to keep his arms and hurl out of the oncoming players face though

Harsh but in real time you can see why he got the second yellow. They seem to be screwed now anyway.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,859 ✭✭✭Redo91

Definite second yellow for me. Did more than stand his ground by putting his arms out.

Flynn redeeming himself with that pass. Great pick out.

Referee counting out 5 fouls so it was for persistent fouling rather than just that foul which is fair enough.

Really surprised Cody hadn't taken him off earlier. Was in bother all game. Very unlike Cody to be too loyal to a lad getting roasted.

Did Cody have options at full back? Not so sure he does

In fairness its criminal how Mannion could score so frequently from play, yet Cody acts by taking off a corner back not marking him.

Very reactive management. And the red card is karma given the fouling he was doing.

That's the problem I suppose. Very easy for me to criticize from the couch.

Galway are in training game mode at this stage

    Too casual for my liking.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,162 ✭✭✭munsterlegend

Never seen a Kilkenny team beaten in the air so easily for a long time.

TJ does it again, super player.

    And that's what happens

That should be a straight red

Thought the kk man was fouled in midfield in the lead up to the galway goal.
