Hi all, first post, followed this forum for info for a while, lots of useful info. So thanks to all.

However as well, i feel credit where credit is due should be given. Having moved to Ireland from another country, i applied for my First licence for my first shotgun, my local Garda were very friendly and helpful and i have just received my grant letter in less than 3 weeks. Actually was 14 working days from submitting FAC1 to getting grant letter.

I don't have any advice other than i did submit quite a lot of additional info with the application, that i felt would support my application. I also e-mailed the local Super prior to starting the application.

For my security i wont name names or station but it was in the New Ross area.
