was it like 6 weeks in portlaois then 6 weeks in Dublin? Correct me if im wrong there but pretty sure I have read that somewhere

Six weeks in the IPSC in Portlaoise (Accommodation provided) , followed by six weeks of training in Wheatfield Prison (No accommodation provided). After these 12 weeks you will be posted in a Dublin Prison and will have to complete a 2 Year Higher Certificate in Custodial Care while working. This is provided by WIT but lectures held in Marino.

    That is your training.

I’m going to bring that and familiarization booklet etc just incase.

Yes I did, I brought what you had said the booking of self confirmation and that was what was required, thank you, orientation was very interesting and found verbal nerve wrecking! Best of luck tomorrow

I agree the orientation was very interesting and presented very well!!!
I found some of the Verbal reasoning very tricky but maybe it was just me.......I always struggle with them.

Was the verbal similar to the online test?harder?how did you find the maths?

Pass mark might lower depending on other scores and once you pass it’s added to the Assessment Questionnaire and judgement scores so hopefully that’s gets you overall a good score.

How were you for time on both tests?
10mins for 10calculation question’s seems a lot of time but I’m sure it’s not as straight forward as that?!

15 mins for the calculations I think, the questions are timed so you've to think fast
