Wish the keeper got a hand to the first half shot or that he kept that shot with 25 to go lower. No joy.

PP bet builder, Yaremolenko and Donny Van de Beek 1 or more sot, over 2.5, Matic to get a yellow at just under 34/1.

10 on that (returned as a free bef if 1 leg let's you down), will do for interest in the game on BBC1

    Juve v Inter.

Danilo and Damian to be booked 14/1. Outside of keepers and strikers, most players on the pitch can't afford to be booked unless they want to miss the final. These two can afford to be booked. With the card count expected to be quite high, I think that looks like good value.

i had that Rashford & Greenwood both to have a shot Power price on PP vs. West Ham.
On 22nd Minute Greenwood did his usual stepover, cut-inside and shoot off his left right into middle of the goal saved by keeper and wasn't given as a shot. how are they considering this a cross?

I also had backed Greenwood in the shot market in my bet builder but my bet had failed on the lack of goals during the 90 minutes.

The instance you're enquiring about iirc was just a poor cross that landed in the goalkeeper's arms, that was my take on it anyway. I'm not going to lie, I did feel hopeful myself at the time but after looking at it again, it was deffo a poor cross.

    Sorry pal.

Work with Stats Perform (Opta Parent company) and we have that as a cross.

Our definition of a shot is an 'attempt to score a goal'.

In fairness, this clearly isn't that.

It started so well with Darmian booked after 13 minutes but Danilo behaved himself!. Inter were pretty toothless in the end.

I think theres some good value to be had in the bets below in tonights match Swansea vs Man City.

Swansea over 0.5 First half goals @ 7/2 (Main bet tonight)
Swansea over 0.5 goals in the match @ 5/4
Also a small stake on Swansea to score in both halves @ 13/1

Man City have failed to keep a clean sheet in three of their last four trips to lower-league opposition, coming from behind to win in two of the previous three, including one vs Swansea (3-2).

Swansea are also in pretty good form, scoring at least 1 goal in 9 of their last 10 matches. They have lost just two of their nine FA Cup home clashes across the last ten years (W6, D1, L2). Within that run, eight of those nine games produced over 2.5 goals for a per match average of 4.67 total goals, whilst seven also saw both teams score, including two of three vs PL opposition (D1, L2).

Hey - same thing again tonight with Gundogan except i feel way more clear cut against Swansea. in 7th minute of the first half he angles his body and volleys at goal from wide with no one in the box as if trying to lob the keeping and the commentator says "an audacious effort from Gundogan" on BT. It was given on PaddyPower and then a few minutes later it was taken away again? and i assume being put down as a cross.

I really can't see how that one is considered a cross even if there was a grey area in the Greenwood one.

I imagine the shots market will end up dying off pretty quickly with this type of stuff happening regularly with just opinion deciding bets.

Are you actually for real saying you genuinely think that was a shot from Gundogan? The one form the right-hand-side? My god.

He clearly tried to stub a cross into the box and mis-hit it.

Again, to quote the definition of a shot: ‘ attempt to score a goal’

When having to choose whether this is a shot or not, the person chose it not to be obviously. This data would be used then for team analysis/scouting too, so having this as a shot would skew things since it definitely isn’t one.

It was probably originally given in ‘live’ but then QC would’ve rectified it correctly as the live person doesn’t have much time to decide.

Also, when the keeper catches the ball you can see Gundogan shake his head in annoyance at the useless cross and thumbs up the City attackers.

    .

If a midfielder drives a low (wildly ambitious) effort from 30m out but another midfielder gets a foot in the way say 5m later, so all this happens out the field, ball never gets near inside the box, does that count as a shot on target?
Genuine question, not trying to nit pick....
Id have guessed no, it'd be odd to call it a shot on target if it never made it into the box...

Say for example that famous Roberto Carlos free kick way out the field had hit the centre of the wall, would that be sot?

No it wouldn't. Definitions and rules have to be set for reasons like this, or else teams/analysts that use our data would be questioning every shot if you get me.

Pool possibly missing Thiago and Fabinho would put me off them.

Swap Pool and Palace and it's 9/1

Palace without Zaha is a no go for me. I see your point with pool though, although think Justin more of a loss than Thiago at the moment even.

10/1 now on PP, it's a power price so max is the usual €20.
